The kids love going to Mathnasium and they seem to be learning a lot. Once they've been there longer and had another assessment or 2, I will have a better idea of how much their math has improved.
The other day I asked my son how math was that day. He said "terrible." Then he asked me to clarify whether I meant at school or at Mathnasium. When I clarified that I meant Mathnasium, he said it was "okay." The fact that he said okay is a high compliment from him, especially regarding math. Thank you for making math bearable for him.
I liked the experience because it teached me more math and it made me talk more with my teachers, I also like the prizes, but my most favorite thing to do was learn math, and the teachers were very kind and helpful.
Our goal was to maintain math skills over the summer, but the children made so much progress at Mathnasium that they both placed in advanced math class at their new private school this fall. They looked forward to every class and were always happy at the end of class. It was a very positive summer experience for all of us.
We're pleased with our child's progress and willingness to do math and attend tutoring. She's usually more relaxed after attending sessions. She has a more positive attitude towards math and we hope this continues.

My son was hesitant to start going, but once he started he said it was great to have one on one support and he feels like he's learning and overcoming struggles.
So far so good! Our daughter has been attending study sessions for about three weeks now and seems to be getting the practice she needs to get ready for a return to school in a few weeks.
Both my kids enjoyed Mathnasium experience. plus it helped both of them excel in math. Even during pandemic my son was able to attend classes via online class and continued to benefit from the classes. Even during summer months my son asks me to sign him up for Mathnasium as the teachers make math fun for kids.
My daughter always comes out happy, and loves her time there.
Because my daughter isn't yet in school I can't say how the curriculum has assisted her. But she goes without complaint. My only critique is I think the gift box could include some items for older kids (like inexpensive Korean face masks, etc.) that make their achievements a bit more worthwhile.
Stephanie and Katie at Mathnasium on Snelling Ave, St. Paul were amazing. They helped build my sons confidence in math but also he felt like he had adults he could trust. They were incredible supportive!
Staff has been great from the start! My twins want to go more days per week.
I want to help my kids go into middle school 1 grade above standard and I think over the next 18 months Mathasium coaches can help us get there.

The format of the online class works well for my daughter. She is able to do the problems on the screen with immediate feedback on her work and process to get the answer. We have seen a stark improvement in her performance in math at school.

My daughter enjoys her time. The staff are likable, pleasant and friendly, & competent, creating a culture of persistence to task, learning and curiosity. At the young age of 8 and 9, feeling safe, loved and secure, which she does, is a requisite for learning. The one on one attention and relationships with the tutors really drive retention, thank you for your service to her and the community.

Teachers are very receptive and supportive. Curriculum is good. More help with in school homework is always appreciated. Always a positive attitude and the kids seem to enjoy it.
We sought help for our 6th grader who was bored to tears with his grade-level math class. Mathnasium helped our gifted son efficiently accelerate through 6th/7th grade math. He's now placed with the advanced 8th grade math class at his school and is thriving.
