I am not happy with Common Core, and come to find out there are a lot of holes in this mathmatical process. We have only been doing this for one month but I am thrilled with our son's enthusiasm. He is building confidence and a clear understanding of the mathmatical processes. If a student can't build a proper foundation, when it comes to math, they cannot progress to the next step. Mathmatical success is built on a solid foundation of the processes. Middle School is a great time to start building this solid foundation. Best decision ever!

My son had a positive progress within 2 months of attending the Mathnasium. All the stuff are knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend to anyone who is ether struggling or just wants to be ahead of school curriculum.

We love the Poway Mathnasium! I have two children who attend and decided to try this program for two different reasons. One of my children needs to build her confidence in math, and the other just needs to be challenged as he tends to find math easy. We’ve been at the center for awhile and I can tell you my daughter’s confidence in math has grown tremendously. She no longer stresses about math tests and she is happy. My son is definitely challenged by the staff and enjoys it. Samantha, Greg and Alex are amazing with both my kids, and the center Director James and the owner Mike are also really dedicated to making each child succeed. Try it out and you’ll be amazed.

My daughter was really struggling with understanding the common core, integrated math concepts they were teaching her at school and her grades were suffering as a result. She is a very bright and creative kid, but needs math explained in a more right-brained way to really get it. The tutors at Mathnasium have been able to help her gain confidence in her math ability and she is getting better grades in math than she ever has as a result. Thank you!

My son didn't even want to look at math or go to math class. He likes going to Mathnasium. He is also trying to do his math homework and participating. I feel like it's because of Mathnasium. If only they offered something similar for other subjects.

I have 2 children at the Mathnasium in Poway who have different strengths and weaknesses but who are both very well looked after. I’ve seen a huge increase in confidence in math from my younger one and it has been good to see my older one challenged. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My kids like going there and enjoy interacting with the staff, especially Samantha, Greg, Alex and Gokul. Mike and James have established a good atmosphere for the kids and I’m very happy that we are a part of it.
Mathnasium has helped my child tremendously. I highly recommend it to any parent.
