My daughter strongly dislikes math. However, even during summer when she knows reality, she needs to continue to work at a subject that is incredibly hard for her, she rarely grumbles about having to go. The staff makes it fun and welcoming and that speaks volumes!
Mathnasium has been a great help to my son and they are very accommodating when at times I have to change the schedule. The staffs are so gracious and friendly. We will definitely go back to them this coming school year.
James and Alex are the coach that my kids talked about when they come home after the lessons. The non-competition approach definitely helps kids focus on learning instead of trying to pretend they know it in front of their peers.

My daughter LOVES going to Mathnasium. That’s a miracle, as math is hard for her! I love how Mathnasium curriculum is paced for each student so she can take as long as she needs to master the foundations of mathematics. The teachers are amazing!

Our 9 yr old loves going and has increased his math scores at school considerably. We will continue as long as he enjoys the lessons and is improving and learning new levels of math. {and he is a math genius.... who knows?}
Mathnasium has helped my child improve her confidence in math tremendously! They help all ages! My child is a secondary school-age child. Don't be shy! If your child is in ES, MS, or even HS he/she can still be helped! My teenager is ahead in math and doesn't feel the stress of not understanding math on "ZOOM" during school because all of the employees at Mathnasium have worked hard to help her understand math and are patient and caring when they work with her. Today, many kids are behind because of the pandemic. I highly recommend Mathnasium if you want to help your child catch up in math, stay on grade level or jump ahead in math. Mathnasium not only works with your child, but they assess your child's mathematical skills and sends the parent a very informative analysis of the child's math abilities and areas that need more help. My daughter loves going to Mathnasium because the staff keeps her engaged and challenge her to expand her knowledge and master new concepts in math beyond what is covered in the school program. She learns a lot and really enjoys her conversations about math and science with James and Alex.
The instructors are very supportive and friendly. My children are enjoying their math lessons with their instructors and developing a very positive self image as mathematicians!
My daughter loves Mathnasium! I love Mathnasium! We love that the instructors are so patient and kind. She spends all the time she needs to get foundational knowledge down. The instructors never rush her ahead or get frustrated. I’m seeing a huge change in her math abilities at home!

My children have been going to Mathnasium Poway for 5 years and have excel in Math in school. The first year they were there, I see some good results but the year after that, they are always above average/expectation in Math.

Professional staff, my daughter loves attending mathnasium and they help a lot. So far it’s the best place for math in regards to helping with homework, advancing and the staff are always there to help. Thank you for everything you do for our kids to help them understand dove and love math

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium off and on for 5 years. The first few years she felt going to Mathnasium was torture. She hated math and the last thing she wanted was more math, though she really liked her tutors there. Virtual learning presents many challenges. A few weeks into the new school year, my now 8th grader asked if she could go back to Mathnasium. She just took a math test and got an A+! She has never got anything higher then a C on a math test. She is flying high and hates math just a smidgen less :-)
My daughter loves the personal attention she receives at Mathnasium.
We wanted our son to level up (one grade level in Math). He was initially enrolled when he was in 3rd grade and within few months started showing very good handle on advanced math topics (to his grade) and successfully place in advanced math in 5th grade.
Again, he needed some help with advanced topics when he was in 7th grade and Mathnasium came to our rescue. Within about 8 months he completed Integrated 1 level math.
I think their secret is the individualized plan that they come up with after the student takes his/her initial assessment. That supplemented with one on one coaching works magic with the kids and in no time kids start enjoying math. All coaches are very competent and make kids learn math ( enjoy math, rather) in a friendly manner. In addition to this, Mathnasium also sends monthly progress report.
Also, during COVID they quickly came up with online tutoring.
Last by not least, kids really love their no-homework policy. Thanks to all coaches for their great work!

We are very happy with Mathnasium. My daughter hated math and had very little confidence before beginning with Mathnasium over a year ago. We haven't seen any tears or lack of confidence. She has been doing Mathnasium at home for the last 4-5 months. Mathnasium has jumped her ahead in her math skills. This is especially important with the beginning of a virtual school year. The employees who work at Mathnasium are caring and very patient. Thank you Mathnasium for working with my daughter to build her confidence and support her math skills.
My kids love Mathnasium and look forward to it! I have seen so much improvement in my son who struggles, his confidence is soaring as well.
They also challenge my daughter who is working well above her grade level. I love that they can work with kids of all levels. The tutors are amazing!
My only feedback is Beckett signs up for an hour of online learning, but most of the time he is done within 30 minutes. I would like to see the full 50-55 minute online schedule used.
My son not only improved his grade during the last quarter during home schooling but he enjoys working with James and Laura. We will be back this coming school year. Thank you Mathnasium for all that you do.
