My daughter is finally getting the individualized help she needs. And for the first time in her life she loves math!! She has been attending Mathnasium regularly now for 6 months, and I can definitely see her progress and a dramatic increase in her confidence.
Mathnasium is a wonderful environment and learning experience for my daughter! She loves getting individual instruction from the rotating instructors, so she is not nervous being in a large group or getting bored by interacting with only one person for a whole hour. It is a great mix of interacting one-on-one and working independently on curriculum tailored just for her.
Her confidence, outlook, and feelings about math (and challenging work) have all improved beyond our expectations. Before coming to Mathnasium, she avoided math and thought everyone was good at it, except for her. Math was something she didn't think she'd ever be good at. She told me the other day she thinks she may even like math. What a change!
My son is learning the math skills that he needs, but even more importantly, he is growing in confidence. His anxiety level has decreased significantly since he started going to the tutor. In fact, on Thanksgiving, when everybody was sharing what they are thankful for, he said he was thankful for Mathnasium.

We’ve done other Maths programs before - Mathnasium is his top pick. The one-to-one approach helps him understand the concepts & basics which is crucial in Maths. I believe if the foundation blocks (of Maths) are solid then Maths becomes easy & fun. Mathnasium helps build a solid foundation.
