Very detailed in their approach to tutoring. They clearly assess a child’s level and where to focus. They also contact the child’s teacher! They will work on homework or test prep, depending on what’s necessary. I’ve been impressed.

It’s been a very good experience for my daughter there. The only thing that is preventing me from giving a score 10 is that the cost is quite high, not every family can easily afford it. And also considering my daughter is a high school student, it’s very hard for her to use up all the allowable hours per month, which resulted in even higher cost per hour.
We wanted to thank the staff of Mathnasium Mira Mesa/Scripps Ranch for helping our child in understanding grade level appropriate math concepts in a non-intimidating environment. On the very first day our child stated, "I got it Dad. I really like it." Also, our child mentioned," the tutors are so nice and they don't get mad or frustrated when I don't understand a concept or if I get a problem wrong." Thank you Mathnasium staff. My kids have been coming to Mathnasium for 5 years now. My son just completed Calculus B/C and ended getting an A in the class. My daughter went up 15 points on her state tests and made it into advanced math class in middle school (basically skipping 6th grade math and going directly to pre-algebra). The improvements I have seen in my kids every year has been amazing. Mathnasium is our support system and it’s the best investment I have made towards my kids education.
My daughter, who is math challenged, has developed a confidence she did not have before attending Mathnasium. She’s doing well and I will continue the program until she graduates!
My 2 daughters were struggling in math before I signed them up with mathnasium. About 5-6 months now after I got them onboard with mathnasium, they’re both so confident in doing their math. They get more involved in their math classes at school, they raised their hands very often now when the teacher asked about math questions. I’m so happy to see their grades picking up higher and higher. Even their school teachers noticed a big change in the way they do their math too when I met with the teachers at conferences. It was the best decision I made to get my 2 girls into mathnasium. Every time I pick them up from mathnasium, they do math games with me to see who can come up with the fastest answers. Our daughter has always expressed her liking for math, which we considered a good thing. Recently she has been struggling with some elements so we are gratified that enrolling at Mathnasium is helping her get back in stride.
My son starts feeling less bored & less pressured in Math. He's happy since his íntructors show him tricks in Math which are helpful and fast in calculation. Moreover, any instructors he studied with are so much fun, soft with kids & knowledgable. Thanks.

The program continues to work for my 2 kids and has helped them get into advanced math classes in school. My 11th grader increased his SAT scores by almost 100 points. Very happy to have found Mathnasium.
My kids look forward to going to Mathnasium every time. The format makes it fun and the extras (games, raffles, punch cards, etc.) make it more exciting. As a busy parent, I appreciate the flexible scheduling - there is no schedule! I love that I can take them anytime it fits into our day. Everyone at the center is friendly and helpful.

Both of my kids have been doing really well in math, ever since we joined Mathnasium. If you stick with the program it really works. Private tutors and other programs were a waste of money.
