My son was doing poorly in math last year. He was put into an alternative math class at school and was still struggling to get a good grade. He started Mathnasium over the summer and has continued going through this school year. He is out of the alternative math class and is getting an A in math! Thank you Mathnasium!!

The staff at Mathnasium in Cedar Rapids are top notch, intentional, and relational. They are aware of my child’s potential and contacted us when he wasn’t performing to that level. Can say enough nice things about Mathnasium. Was skeptical of all the positive reviews we read before enrolling, but honestly, the investment is 100% worth the hype. Our daughter went from really struggling with math - literally failing Algebra for the year and having to retake the entire course - to the getting B's in both Algebra and Geometry. Now this year, she's getting A's in Algebra 2. A literal 180 degree turnaround. So needless to say at this point, but the program absolutely works.
In addition to the wonderful staff, easy scheduling, etc, it's also important to note another surprising benefit: is the confidence student's gain that trickles down to their other classes. Not only is my daughter getting A's in math for the first time ever, ALL of her grades have improved. Without the stress and anxiety from not understanding math, she is much more confident in her ability at school and ALL of her grades have improved. She's gone from C's and some B's to A's and a few B's.
So if you're still reading, that means you're considering the program. Don't think about it - just enroll. Go as many times in a month as they'll let you. My family promises you'll be glad you did.

After 10 years, we continue to trust and love the staff and philosophy of Mathnasium! Our children have excelled in the classroom due to their years at Mathnasium. We wouldn't recommend anyone else for math support and/or enrichment!
