We love mathnasium and it has been an amazing resource for my daughter. The benefits are many-fold. That said, I am aware what a privilege it is to be able to afford this luxury, and I probably wouldn’t recommend it to friends/family who I knew struggled financially. It would certainly be nice if families who didn’t necessarily have the means could also find support. I’m not saying there’s a fix, or that the cost is unreasonable, or that it isn’t worth it...it’s just a thought that I have at most drop-offs.
Mathnasium has given my son the confidence he needs when trying to conquer math problems. He is no longer intimidated when trying to learn a new area of math. Mathnasium has given him a new way to problem solve and think through the problem.
Our son has struggled significantly with math. He is always eager to go to Mathnasium and has never had a bad experience while there. He is always very happy and positive when he leaves his session. Although his progress has been slow, due to his learning disabilities, not the work of Mathnasium; he does continue to progress and feels much more comfortable and confident taking on his math schoolwork.

Kayley is finding math so enjoyable now that she signed up for a math exploratory (elective) class both first and second quarter this year. While other kids are choosing to take meditative coloring she’s choosing math!
Mathnasium has been wonderful for our daughter Abby. She attends 10-12 times per month and has improved her math skills tremendously. With this improvement has also came increased confidence. The staff is very high quality and they do an awesome job working with kids!
