Our daughter loves going to Mathnasium and it is a great way for her to expand her knowledge over the summer break from school.

Mathnasium offers a way for kids to really retain the math that they learn in school. The material at school is often covered quickly and/or superficially and Mathnasium helps the kids understand and remember the math after they have forgotten it.
Initial assessment/lesson plan was very accurate. I also appreciated the hands on attention from the center’s owner!

Mathnasium in Bethesda did an amazing job for our daughter. She started the program in 4th grade. We felt her school was not rigorous enough and we wanted to make sure she was on track. Kathryn and Barry are great; they and their staff are so patient with the kids. The program is very thorough and teaches kids the intuition around many concepts. The rewards in the program help the kids stay motivated. Our daughter was always excited to go. Now math is her favorite subject!

The timings work very well. The team is flexible to accommodate the student needs - whether it is help on a particular topic going on at school / homework or with things that the student struggled in the assessment.
