Love Mathnasium, as does our daughter!
We are relatively new users but very pleased. The team is really wonderful. They genuinely care about the kids, the process and the experience. I think they really know the local private and public schools well and can address anything one may need. The program is very thoughtful without being overwhelming. The kids ENJOY going to learn - that should say it all. I am thoroughly pleased and would recommend anyone try it - we have tried a lot of different things and this really seems to work.

Both our children (aged 15 and 11) have benefited immensely from regular attendance. In addition to the value of coaching and tutoring, we have been really pleased with the staff at Mathnasium instilling an interest in math for our children and making them believe they can do it.

We had great experiences with Mathnasium in Bethesda. They offer a lot of flexibility in scheduling sessions, so we could easily make it work with our schedule. The owner is great and was very involved in matching my daughter with an appropriate tutor - and the tutor was excellent. My daughter's grades improved significantly, and she developed confidence in math for the first time. They get an A+!

We sent our rising 3rd grader to Mathnasium in downtown Bethesda over the summer, as he had a tough school year and was a bit behind in math. Initially he was nervous to go. After the very first lesson he came home excited and loving math again! By the end of summer, he had made up so much ground he was almost completely caught up again. Within the first week of the new school year, his teacher was ready to give him enriched instruction in class. We honestly couldn’t have had a better experience - Kathryn & Barry are so attentive, it is apparent they genuinely care about helping their students.
Mathnasium has been wonderful! It gives our 4th grade daughter a supportive, encouraging place to practice her math skills. We originally signed up for a short block of 8 sessions over the summer, but our daughter’s attitude toward match changed so dramatically that we enrolled for a full year. In truth, our daughter begged us to enroll!
Over the past three months, she has gone from a reluctant math student who refused to memorize her multiplication tables to a kid who is excited to get to Mathnasium! Her confidence at school has skyrocketed. She postpones play dates and runs in on the weekends before soccer and basketball games so she can practice. She loves every adult in the center, especially Kathryn, I especially appreciate the homework help, which can handle whetever a child is assigned at school. I can send a quick note to Kathryn and Barry about a difficult homework topic and they quickly identify the skills ant sissies and add them to my child’s binder.
I highly recommend Mathnasium in Bethesda.

When our daughter needed help with Math we choose Mathnasium. Her grades and confidence improved. The staff is friendly and well organized, and the hours convenient. Mathnasium Bethesda was a good choice.

Kathryn and Barry are excellent and both my children went from hating math to loving it! Both my children's math test scores took a big leap at school too! They are also incredibly fair when it comes to charging you and refund you for periods you are away or your children are sick.
I can't recommend Mathnasium in Bethesda highly enough!
