Our daughter is gaining a lot more confidence with math since joining Mathnasium. She is also refining key fundamentals that she lacked refinement in. The staff members at the Alexandria, VA location are very helpful and use every minute the sessions to keep my daughter focused on necessary tasks to continue growing and improving as a math student.

Great program overall. Very happy with it. Can’t wait until we can go back to pre-covid schedule where kids could just show up and do Mathnasium. It is difficult to fit in right now because other extracurriculars that the kids do always start and end at an odd time (5:15-6:30 or 6:30-8:00 are two examples). This makes it very difficult to also do Mathnasium when you can only schedule on an “even” hourly time slot (5-6 or 6-7 or 7-8).
If we could schedule/start Mathnasium at 15 minute increments (5:15 or 6:30 or 6:45) that would be very helpful.

I signed up my 2 daughters ( 3rd grade & 1st) for Mathnasium a few weeks ago and have nothing but great things to say about the site. Tony is very knowledgeable and has been eager to help us get set up and explained the process and answered all of my questions. My kids were previously in Kumon but were starting to show loss of interest and wanted to try mathnasium as I have heard the teaching model is different and is more hands on and engaging. So far they seem to enjoy their classes both online and in person and hope that it will help them excel in math.
I used the service before the pandemic and my kids benefit a lot from it. Great people and it worked. My kids were behind and hate Math and after going to Mathnasium for a year, their favorite subject became Math and they were above their class level. When the teacher introduced a new topics, they already knew it so they helped other kids and that made them so happy. Because of the pandemic we stopped Mathnasium for a little over a year and their grade become bad. They are behind their grade level and now Mathnasium is working to bring them to their grade levels. My daughter is 10 and she said she gets more out of it when she goes to the center than from home so I tried to use the center as much as I can. I wish the remote works as much as the center one but I think kids get distracted when they are online.

The facility is calm and clean. You get great, frequent progress reports and always know how what your child is learning map's onto public school curricula.
Mathnasium helps my kids not to forget what they have learned so far last year during the summer. They are also moving forward in math to cover done material they will be covering during next academic year.
Great place for kids yo excel in math
Both my 12 yr old son and 9 yr old daughter go to Mathnasium. They have both expressed how they love the way Mathnasium makes learning math fun. In only a month thus far, I also observe improvements in my kids' understanding of their math homework from school.

Mathnasium has been AWESOME!! Our son is flourishing --- Math is his favorite subject. His confidence has continued to increase. It seems as if Mathnasium is always a step ahead of where they are in my son's Honors Algebra-I course which goes to attest to the tailoring of the individual programs to ensure student success. We would highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent who is seeking to strengthen their child's mathematical ability.

My daughter has really benefitted from Mathnasium. She may not thank us for it today (few kid love doing extra school work) but we have absolutely seen measurable improvements in his math grades, her math test scores, and most importantly, her confidence in herself that she can do the math work. She used to DREAD going to math class -- to the point where she literally gave herself stomach craps. We and her teachers used to joke about "the math cramps" because they always seemed to come on right before her math class. But it was real. She really had lost confidence in herself that she could do it. While math will probably never be her favorite subject, I don't think I've seen her complain about math class in a year, and she's doing just fine in 7th grade now. Mathnasium clearly made the difference.
Our child loves going to Mathnasium every day. Grades at school have improved dramatically during the time that sessions have been taken here at Mathnasium. It’s a place that friends have been made among the other participants, learning has become something fun and understanding of math concepts are now handled with ease.
My son enjoys coming to the Center. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Mr. Sun encourages my son all the time and he is very approachable. My son finishes his home working at the center and gets to review lessons learned in School. They make math fun for my son.
