Mathnasium has given our daughter a new-found confidence with math! My both sons have been attending virtual Mathnasium classes for a few months. They made a lot of progress since than and even feeling that they are ahead now in their classes. The sessions are well organized. Instructors are always very helpful, polite and always trying to make that special individual connection with the kids asking them about hobbies they like, things they excel at. That makes my kiddos feel confident and special. Mr. Tony is always very responsive to requests to cover a particular topic. The platform is simple to use.
My son has been attending Mathnasium for close to 3 years and his understanding of the various aspects of Math has drastically increased, going from D's to solid B's in all of his math-related classes. Sure, someone might say it's not an "A", but to me, the most important thing is his self-confidence and self-esteem as it relates to math. Most people tend to run in the opposite direction when they are dealing with a subject area that doesn't come easy to them; my son, instead, continues to challenge himself by taking increasingly difficult math courses to include Trigonometry and Physics. Mathnasium has been our secret weapon in making it through high school and the SATs. Tony is amazing in how he treats his students and his staff is always fun yet professional. The staff also navigated COVID-19 beautifully, with the transition from in-person to virtual sessions being 100% seamless. Best investment ever.
Even though we've dealt with the COVID thing, we have enjoyed the online classes immensely. It saves time out of our day driving around and our daughter can focus in her own room with her instructor. We truly hope that Mathnasium keeps online classes as an option when things go back to normal!

Mathnasium has greatly helped 2 of my daughters. One was struggling to make her grade level math (she was about a grade behind), but after a year at Mathnasium 2 times a week, she was beyond her grade level and is now in advanced math! The other was already in Advanced Placement math at school, but wanted to excel even further to get into Thomas Jefferson so she asked for Mathnasium for Algebra. She has excelled the last few months and should do very well on her admittance tests in the fall. During the Pandemic, Mathnasium has been great instructing virtually and the owner Tony has always been very helpful and flexible.
My son has made alot of progress and enjoys each session.

Mathnasium of Alexandria has been very helpful for my daughter's. My youngest was almost a year behind her grade level and in about 8-10 months of Mathnasium she was about a year ahead and is now in advanced math for her grade. My oldest (7th grade) is already in Advanced Honors Math, but wanted to get even further advanced and Mathnasium is a great preparing her for her Algebra exams. So Mathnasium can help if your child is behind grade level on pace, or even ahead of grade level.
