My daughter has been going to Mathnasium for a little over 6 months and I have seen a big improvement in their confidence when it comes to math and their grades have improved as well.

we started a couple years ago and my daughter had increased her grade from an F to an A in a matter of a month and a half. Now we are falling behind again as she is getting into more difficult math and i see a change for the better just after a few weeks. i am totally sold on mathnasium and the staff, they are caring and personable.
We are a month in and I'm pleased that my son is still motivated. Often with challenging academics he loses interest and wants to quit. Melissa has been wonderful. I really like her casual style because I never felt like it was "salesy" and only that she really wants to make this work for my son. The staff member who works with him on multiple days, whose name I am forgetting at the moment (she is older with blond hair)... she is very sweet and patient with him and he likes working with her a lot. The only thing I would change would be to open at 2PM and to potentially allow bookings on the half hours (ie 3:30-4:30). Maybe as you grow this might be doable schedule-wise.

Mathnasium has helped my son become more confident in math. It is worth every penny we spend. It’s an investment into his future. He asked me what a mathematician does and he’s in the third grade. I told him if he likes math he could get a PHD and teach math one day. Mathnasium has done that. It is turning a struggler into a lover of math over time.

Great and wonderful experience. My son was motivated to go to his virtual class. He was very comfortable with his teachers. He said that the learning style and method helped him. He felt that he learned a lot. I’m impressed by this program. My son has struggled with math since the beginning. He dreaded math class. When he started Mathnasium, he independently logged in and was excited to learn. He never complained and looked forward to learning. I really wish that I signed him up earlier. It is really work it. I was just talking about Mathnasium to a friend! My daughter is starting to believe in herself and feel stronger about her math aptitude. She looks forward to her classes and I'm sleeping better at night knowing that she's going to catch up with her class. I don't think there was any other type of math program out there that could have gotten my daughter caught up as thoroughly as Mathnasium!
Mathnasium of Point Loma has been a wonderful supplement for learning for both our daughters, ages 9 and 12. They have been so thorough with communication, outreach, and have taken extra steps to encourage learning during these quarantine times. There is effort to personally connect with each family and make each child feel special. With changing online school schedules, they’ve also been extremely flexible when we’ve needed to make adjustments. We’ve felt very fortunate to have mathnasium to help us get through these home school times.
