My son loves learning at Mathnasium. We have only been attending this summer, but the tutoring has already helped to build his confidence and shown him math can be fun. Hopefully he will enter 8th grade with a more solid foundation to build upon.

My daughter really enjoyed it. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. My daughter said that the staff was patient and explained concepts well. It was nice to have unlimited drop-ins and staff always available. Wish it was open more hours or more days a week. Parking can be tough. Would be nice to get progress reports for the parents.

Mathnasium has done so much to help my daughter with Math, while building her confidence doing it. For the first time ever, she looks forward to math homework! It truly has been a lifesaver for us and we recommend it to everyone who asks for math tutors.
Mathnasium has been amazing. My daughter has never received higher than a "C" on a test or quiz and now is getting A's and B's. Her confidence is boosting and feeling much more able to do her work.
After struggling since the start of school year and suddenly getting low grades we enrolled in Mathnasium and not only does my son LOVE to go but he just received his first "A" in 7th grade advance math - and trust me, the material is not easy!! The instructors here are so talented and quality people and the kids really love them!
My daughter was resistant at first, than after a couple of weeks she was looking forward to work with her tutor and learn, 😱!
We had to give this month a pause, but today we got the news that she got an A!!!!!!!
I am so pleased and looking forward to next month when the holidays are over.

Mathnasium is just AMAZING! My 9yr-old was struggling...she is such a great kid, but when it came to math...she had major meltdowns during EVERY NIGHT when doing math homework! The instructors have given her CONFIDENCE in math...I seriously am in disbelief at how FAST she has strengthened her skills! Day 1, I literally had to pull her out of the car in tears to walk into Mathnasium. By the time we left THAT day, she litetally asked if she could go back the very next day! I cannot thank the kind, patient, knowledgeable, and FRIENDLY staff enough at Mathnasium!!! If your child is struggling....this is THE place they need to be. Worth EVERY single penny!!
Mathnasium is helping my son learn math with new fun concepts. Last year, he was stressed and nervous to do anything pertaining to math. This year he asks if he can go to Mathnasium because he wants to learn more!
My son has only been going for a short time. We joined after his first high school math test result was 24% Just four trips to Mathnasium and the next test was an 89%. . Amazingly fast results and he really enjoys going! thank you

You Are all so amazing! First and foremost EVERYONE has the child's best interest and consequently is willing to listen and pay attention to what works for a particular child vs another and be flexible with it. My girls LOVE LOVE going there and have gain enormous confidence in themselves and in math obviously just in a few weeks...my girls are young 6 and 7 years old but this is when math problems begin and math aversion starts...this is when it's critical to make sure as parents that our children have a strong base in math but also and most importantly taht the learn taht math is fun and start liking it if not loving it! My youngest had an enormous challenge to overcome...math was EXTREMELY abstract to her and with OUTSTANDING tutors and an owner always willing to hear out the parent we have managed in only one month to have my little one work efficient and regularly with the same tutors with whom she connected perfectly and now she is unrecognizable!
I believe strongly that whether you think your child needs more support or not in math, Mathasium is for EVERYONE!
My oldest has no math issues but wanted to join because he little sister was there and still they find ways to challenge her and she simply LOVES IT!
I wish schools thought math like Mathnasium ( Point Loma) does so parents don't have to spend extra money and time after school but schools don't and therefore THANK YOU TO MATHNASIUM (Point Loma- this is our location) for so much more then words can say!

The best thing is the instructors, who are super engaged and seem to really enjoy helping the kids. I don’t love the location (traffic, homelessness), but the place itself is great.
I like that it’s in my area the people that work there and the teachers who help my child are fabulous I’ve seen a big change in Mericia confidence and in her learning skills so yes I would definitely recommend mathematics to anyone that has a child who is struggling in math or in any subject. Mericia is attending three times a week for one hour.
