For starters, Nick is a wonderful tutor. Effective in his several approaches of teaching what he knows to say the least. His ability to relate to where I struggle in a subject, meet me where i’m at, and guide me from where i make mistakes is quite underrated. (Not that anyone’s rated it to my knowledge or anything lol).
Look I guess what I’m saying is somewhere along the way I got discouraged and started not liking math because i sucked at it lol. And there came Nick, to help demystify the subject. And here I am, writing my 2nd review now.
Aside from that, there’s Allison. I don’t really work with her as much since Nick is who I go to see, but she’s been very helpful as well. On one occasion she went out her way to not only contact the licensee holder of this one poster, but even remembered to bring hers in the following session so that i could learn “when will we ever use this” (that’s the name of the poster, so i guess pun intended?) lol anyway, appreciate all of your help Nick! Thank you
The instructors at Mathnasium are all excellent. My son has improved so much over the course of the school year. Also, the outside events to promote camaraderie (Pi Day, Holiday Party) are fabulous. Thank you so much for all you have done.

My daughter’s scores in school have improved. I like the fact that no homework is assigned unless we want it. And all of the learning is done during the session. We’ve also been able to utilize the Mathnasium at home option when we occasionally can’t get her to a lesson, instead of skipping it all together. That has helped to keep the momentum of her learning. She’s also encouraged to work hard because they give out punchcards that can be redeemed for prizes.
Mathnasium is helpful for students whether they excel or struggling in Math. When my daughter started Mathnasium back in 1st grade, what was developed early on was her "Math sense" and for her to love Math, and not be anxious of it. Those early concepts built a strong foundation and helped her tremendously now that she's in middle school
Both my kids have been coming for at least 5 years now and it has become a place they look forward to going after school. Nick (and other teachers like Joy and Anna) have helped them so much.
The kids are motivated to go every week. My 6th grader gets a lot of help that benefits her a lot before her tests and quizzes. The teachers are fun and friendly and make learning math fun!
Raiden has improved his Math skills significantly over the past year. He has enjoyed coming to meet with his respective Math tutors. Furthermore, the outside events that they hold from movie night to PI Day have been very fun for Raiden. We have recommended friends to join Mathnasium and will continue to do so.
There are instructors there who understand the type of learner my son is. For this reason, my son is entering his third year there .
Mathnasium of Scarsdale has amazing tutors that support the development of mathematical skills in a foundational and methodical manner. This allows the students to build confidence and become more adept in their arithmetic skills. I am so glad to have Mathnasium as a support and also a source of enrichment for my girls.
High Schooler feels more confident in Algebra as a result of attending Mathnasium classes regularly.

I found an excellent tutor in Nick. Partly because he understands the importance of meeting students where they’re at, is patient, and willing to share his knowledge with me across many subjects.
Coming in i thought to myself that the sign on the wall reading; “caution your child might turn out to love math” was pretty silly.. but honestly I’ve honestly become genuinely curious since attending our tutoring sessions.

Since my daughter has started at Mathnasium her love of math has returned and she is doing wonderfully in school. I can tell the tools being used at Mathnasium, support my daughter in understanding the math and having confidence to do her best! The staff is also wonderful and super engaging, which makes such an impact for my daughter!
Our kids have been getting lots of help from Mathnasium Scarsdale in the past year, which was a turning point in their academic lives.
My son was always hesitant to ask for help and has struggled academically. Once he joined Mathnasium Scarsdale, he became comfortable and rather willing to ask for help. I believe it's because the atmosphere is kids-friendly and casual and the staff like Director, Nick and Assistant Director, Joy, are knowledgeable and kind.
Our kids improved not just math but overall subjects, especially because their attitude and mindset towards academic has changed so much. We are quite happy to see their growth as they are now more proactive and communicate better with others.

My daughter has learning differences. Math is especially tough. She has had many tutors, but none have taught her in a way that she understands the material. Nick has been tutoring my daughter for several years and without his guidance and help my daughter wouldn’t have done as well. He is an excellent tutor. So grateful to him!
I recommended someone to join whom is with russian math and then went to kumon. I think you are by far the greatest teachers/leaders for our kids and my son has never felt more confident :)
