My daughter, Maya started attending Mathnasium in 1st grade. She wasn't struggling in Math but we decided to try it after going to Math Night in our school. We thought we'd try for a few months. 5 years later, she's still going 2x/week. Mathnasium did not only help her grades (100 Final grade in 5th grade, 100 in both marking periods in 6th) but more importantly, it made her LOVE Math. For 7 years (Grades 5 through 12) Mathnasium has been a most welcome and necessary presence in my daughter's education. When your child needs a deeper understanding of lessons briefly taught in school, Mathnasium tutors find a method that work for your child and that he/she will understand in order to grasp challenging math concepts. My daughter has always looked forward to going to Mathnasium and she has become confident in math. Her excellent grades are proof. My advice is dont wait until your child is struggling to reach out. Mathnasium makes math fun and can provide a stable environment that can also keep your child a step ahead and feel empowered. Mathnasium has been amazing! Especially Joy and Nick! They have been knowledgeable and understanding. There are great with the students and look for the best way for the student to grasp the material. I would highly recommend Mathnasium in Scarsdale. The students will learn and feel comfortable! There should not be a hesitation in choosing this Mathnasium!
Both of our kids, 8th & 11th grades, love the tutors and atmosphere at Mathnasium. Nick, Joy and other tutors are friendly, welcoming and talented. Our kids never wanted to get tutoring before, but now both are willing and excited to go to Mathnasium as they know they will get the right help. Our 11th-grade son has been struggling with Math for a while and was about to give up. Since he started going to Mathnasium, his attitude has changed and been making progress both mentally and academically. We appreciate both Nick and Joy and highly recommend Mathnasium!!

Mathnasium in Scarsdale is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and patient. Especially one specific tutor by the name of Joy. She has a wonderful teaching ability that makes the student feel comfortable and confident in doing their work. Nick is also very nice and runs the location well. I would definitely refer them to everyone who needs math help. My advice if there is a child that needs help with their mathematics, this is the location and the teachers to help! Do not hesitate to place your child with their teaching capabilities.
