My kids enjoy the instructors. They like their personalities and the time they take to explain the material. Teacher - student relationships are so important to learning; and this is what we like about Mathnasium.
We had a great experience, my daughters liked the instructors and learned a lot. I do wish packages were sold during the school year, similar to summer. There is not enough flexibility during the school year to make a monthly subscription worth while.

It’s been an fantastic way for my girls to keep up their math in the summer, build their math confidence and learn to enjoy it.
This has been a great experience for my daughter. She does well in math at school, but never seems confident in her ability. Her math classes at school have been about memorizing how to solve problems; they were not truly teaching math skills that could build from year to year. I’ve tried having her use Khan Academy and IXL, but she really didn’t enjoy either. It was a struggle to get her to use them. Mathnasium has been completely different. She loves coming and leaves excited with how well she has completed the tasks. I cannot say enough good things about the program!
We are very happy with Marhnasium. Teachers are very supportive and patient with their students , we would highly recommend mathnasium .
We really like the flexibility of the Mathnasium program. We can find time to come even when our schedules change, and we're glad that our child can continue learning math over the summer. The staff is wonderful (Ms. Phylis is a real favorite).

My 15 year old son actually enjoys going to Mathnasium, and says it helps him so much more than his Algebra teachers. He says the Tudors are very nice, and do a great job explaining concepts that he has struggled with in school. It is also wonderful to be able to show up, without being boxed into an appointment time. It has also been great to put our membership on hold for the summer, as we are away a great deal and would not be able to get in very often. Many thanks!
I found the owners to be absolutely wonderful! They responded to my initial e-mail inquiry very quickly and were also willing to talk to me over the telephone. They were extremely accommodating and flexible with our particular needs (my son's) and also, with scheduling! The environment is super cool and the teachers seem to really know what they are doing with an organized and methodical pedagogy!

Our son was behind with foundational math concepts but with going to Mathnasium and practice at home he is catching up and becoming more confident. His quiz scores and test grades have improved.
We noticed improvements in my son after as little as 3 weeks of starting Mathnasium.
We love Chapel Hill Mathnasium. Would love to see the center open Friday and additional hours available on the weekend!

Mathnasium has completely changed our daughter's thinking about math. She used to hate it, and her grades were not so great. Now she does her math homework on her own, and her grades are SO much better, too!
