The first semester of 6th Grade Math really threw my Pre-AP student for a loop. Luckily, a friend recommended Mathnasium Lakewood to help get my daughter back on track. Now my once frustrated and struggling student is thriving and making straight A's!

Me. Tenley is awesome!! ALWAYS listens to any concerns or whatever and explains EVERYTHING so I know exactly what’s happening and how everything works! Mr. Mikey is the BEST with my kids! He is super patient and motivates them! My kids have been more challenged at Mathnasium in the last 3 months than the entire time they’ve even been in school!

Our daughter has excellent grades in math. She started one year ago, and I have seen remarkable improvement. We are so happy to be part of Mathnasium family. Ms Castillo is an excellent director-teacher. She explains math in a way that my child understands and remembers how solve mathematical equations. So very content with this center.

I have seen major improvements in my daughters ability to do math. It went from her worst subject to her best and she looks forward to going to Mathnasium. Even in the hardest times with paycuts we are budgeting to keep this going because not only has it improved her grade it improved her confidence and there is not a price I would not pay to see that.

My son has been struggling in math since the second grade, much of it due with the curriculum of our school district. After a difficult and discouraging teacher conference before spring break I went on a hunt to help my son with math. One of my gym/yoga instructors told me about Mathnisum and how incredibly helpful they were for her son. We had my sons assessment and from the moment we met Cathy she patiently walked myself and son through the process and then spent personal one on one time with my child to get an idea of where he was at in math so they could get him where he needed to be in his school’s curriculum. Who knew in that within a few short days from our meeting a global pandemic would occur and change everything. However, Cathy and her team flew into gear, and were very knowledgeable of the constant changes taking place on a rapid scale. They adjusted how they would instruct and quickly set up online tutoring sessions which we have been in for the past two weeks. They have been different instructors each time and each tremendous! They have been able to do everything that was planned as if we came onsite to them. My son is quiet and shy and has come to be very comfortable with working with all the instructors. They are patient, kind, helpful, encouraging and have a way of constructively helping him when he makes mistakes. I like that they have started him off slowly which is helping him to build his confidence and work on skills he never really established well. He looks forward to his sessions online and he is very willing to participate now more than even before when we first began.

I am truly impressed with Cathy and her team. They have done an outstanding job especially in the face of a global crisis. Keeping the children and staffs safety and health a priority and still making an extremely tricky situation work. So grateful to the whole Mathnisum team here in Cypress and very glad I made the call!

Excellent Source to upgrade Math Skill.

My son has been enrolled in Mathnasium for 6 years. He went from D-F student to an A-B student. He understands the teaching methods they use and has flourished. He will be continuing through his Senior year. They are a life saver.

Before we started Mathnasium of Lakewood in January, my 6th grade Pre-AP Math student was frustrated, her love of the subject had vanished, and she had decided to register for regular 7th math instead of continuing in Pre-AP courses. I'm happy to report that in March, just weeks later, her grade in math has soared to an A+, she no longer dreads homework, and she has officially registered for Pre-AP 7th grade Math!! I'm thrilled at her progress and am so grateful to Mathnasium of Lakewood for their help!

Amazing place for kids for learning math, staff is amazing

My daughter who was not doing well in math lost her confidence and begin to not like school. 1 month in at Mathnasium and she is enjoying math more. Waiting for it to reflect in her grades, as it has only been 1 month.
