My son came to Mathnasium needing A LOT of help. The manager Chris was very helpful and made signing up so easy. He's going 3 days a week and a I already see his confidence going up. He took a test today on fractions and only missed 3 problems! The tutoring groups are small and I feel like he gets the individualized attention that he needs to help him understand new concepts. I will continue to have him go to Mathnasium once the school year starts.

My children went from disliking math to having great confidence in their math abilities after being with mathnasium for the last several years. We see it as a vital part of filling in whatever teaching/learning gaps we have had in our homeschooling journey. My son is an 8th grader going into Geometry and my 10th grade daughter will be going into Algebra 2. Both do excellently in their classes and their friends often call them "smart", but our kids know it's because they have the advantage of having their weak concepts identified and targeted/worked on through mathnasium's assessments. It's helped them to develop a healthy view of assessments as just simply feedback that helps them to know where they need help.

Mathnasium address both of our kids' needs perfectly (they are very different needs). Bastian has been great, too. Our kids very much enjoy going and we are appreciative of this location's staff. We really don't need to keep track of their progress - Mathnasium does it and we feel like they are in good hands when we drop them off!

My kids absolutely love the learning process and tips they get in class! Ms Sahar creates such a wonderful culture at this location - we drive here 2x a week even though there are closer locations to our house because we really love the staff and wonderful environment!

Just this week, when my kids told me how much they enjoyed going to mathnaseum for the millionth time, I thought of only schools could bottle this recipe and create this type of learning environment, so many more kids would love school - and math!

Our 7 year old granddaughter has been attending the last 2 months.. she enjoys going in. We are excited for her when she returns to school so we can see the results.
The teachers are great and very patient with her. The facilities are both very well maintained.

Mathnasium of West Torrance is very helpful and proactive to customize, then regularly adjust math course to fit with our child's specific strength and weakness. They don't just tutor math, they try to coach math and make math interesting.

Becca, the director is so accommodating with last minute scheduling changes which can happen a lot when you have 3 kiddos, 3 different grade levels all attending Mathnasium. Everybody is friendly and polite.
At the beginning my son did not think he needed the extra help, because he had good grades in math. But then he realized he could use those sessions to clarify concepts and review his homework and tests.
I just do not like the location. Too many homeless people make me nervous. I wish they have some security door
