For my son, the rewards he works to earn a Roblox gift card has been a good motivator. I haven’t been there long and am waiting to see progress soon. I had recommended a couple of people and they all signed up at the new location in Alhambra (closer to home)
My son was not motivated to do tutoring for this summer , but after his first day I saw a difference in his attitude, he was actually happy to go in for his tutoring, he was happy every time I picked him up, thank you so much it was a great experience and will come back if needed.
My daughter was really struggling with Math and was several grades behind in some areas. In less than 6 month she was able to catch up. This has tremendously improved her confidence and self esteem, which to me is more important.

My daughter was struggling with math in 1st grade. She started to do better after attending mathnasium but after each new introduction to something different she really wouldn’t grasp the concept and had trouble. It was nice to have the tutors at mathnasium to help and the owner and manager have really gone out of their way to to make sure she is placed with the right tutors and getting what she needs. They also communicate with me about what could work at home too.

My daughter initially struggled with Algebra due to gaps in her foundational pre-Algebra skills from her previous school. After an assessment at Mathnasium confirmed these gaps, they created a personalized program tailored to her specific needs. I wanted Mathnasium to concentrate on building her core skills, while I continued helping her with homework at home.
When she encountered difficult assignments, she brought them to Mathnasium, where the tutors used them as opportunities to reinforce the underlying concepts. By the second month, I saw a noticeable improvement in her understanding of Algebra. The center’s owner offered clear guidance, and the tutors were both engaging and supportive.
Although she started off disliking math, the encouraging atmosphere at Mathnasium helped her build confidence and strengthen her skills. By the end of the year, she had earned a B in Algebra—a result that reflected her hard work and the support she received.
The kids went from resistant to the idea to begging to continue once their summer stay was up.
SO far I have really enjoyed my son going to Mathnasium. We have been doing this for a month. In the beginning my son was hesitant but now is really starting to enjoy his time there.
