The staff at Mathnasium is fantastic. They are professional while keeping a sense of humanity within the classroom. Immediately I could tell the tutors were above standard in their knowledge, as well. My child is in special education for math and she was able to do a lot of work here, more than she was able to accomplish in school at times.

My daughter has been at Mathnasium since 2nd grade and she will be a senior in high-school this year! It has been an excellent investment in her learning career as she has made straight As in all of her math classes. She is taking Calculus her senior year and Mathnasium will be her back up instructor and ace in the hole.

Mathnasium was over the top amazing! Not only did the instructors give our son the knowledge to just about ace the math section of his SAT but going to Mathnasium strengthened his math confidence. Their customer service was top notch. Peter always treated us with kindness and professionalism and was flexible in working with us during covid. Thank you!

Mathnasium really helped my daughter. It's kind of expensive; however, if you can afford it, I strongly suggest it. Peter is great!

All of my children have been to Mathnasium over a summer and have returned to school with new confidence. After that experience they were able to master the math skills they needed when they returned to school!

The staff at Mathnasium was wonderful and worked with my daughter to address her specific needs. She came out of Mathnasium with a smile because she finally understood the lessons her teacher at school couldn't explain properly.

My 11th grade daughter was struggling with Algebra 2. Three-quarters of the grading period were almost over, and she was getting solid "Es." It seemed hopeless. I saw an ad on TV for Mathnasium, and it seemed like a perfect solution. She started going 3-4 days a week, and Algebra 2 finally started making sense to her. Sometimes when we were going to skip a day, she said, "No, I have something I need to work through with them." She started turning her homework in on time, and getting passing grades on quizzes. She ended up getting a B- on the "final," and miraculously over the last few weeks of the semester, she brought a solid "E" up to a "D" and passed the class. She couldn't have done it without Mathnasium!!

The instructors at Mathnasium are very patient. The format of small group learning and the program of learning are a great fit for our family.

Math has always been the weaker subject for my daughter. The year following enrollment at Mathnasium, she scored in the 99th percentile in her Math SOLs! This is a huge leap from her previous year (before Mathnasium), when she scored in the 77th percentile in Math. In addition to the tremendous growth, I highly recommend Mathnasium because their instructors are all so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I also love that Peter is always willing to help, and is always open to adjusting the content she is practicing when it came down to preparing for a test or quiz that week. We have since moved away to another state, and my daughter and I keep saying that we wish we could bring everyone at the Mathnasium on Cedar Road with us!!! We miss you all..

Mathnasium has been very instrumental in my kids growth and comfort in math. My daughter struggled with Geometry, but thanks to the wonderful instructors, it has built my daughter’s confidence with math as well as my son! Would highly recommend.

My student's grades improved while attending. Public schools are cramming lots of math in a short period of time & do not have time to slow down and adjust to each students needs.

The staff at Mathnasium Chesapeake is amazing. They truly wanted my child to succeed and were patient and understanding with her. I would HIGHLY recommend sending your child to Mathnasium Chesapeake if you want them to improve their math skills quickly in a caring environment.

My daughter was doing well in Math but expressed the desire to come to Mathnasium. Her reasoning is she wanted to understand what she was being taught when in school and maybe be a bit ahead. Also on the flip side she is desiring to have all Honors classes next year not just 2 so this is facilitating that need/want. She asked to go what child asks to do something like this. How could I say NO!

We enjoyed our time and Trey is using the strategies he learned while there. Unfortunately we did not utilize all of our days because school started earlier for private schools. It would be great if the hours could be extended.

Excellent individual attention. Teachers went above and beyond to help Claire with college calculus. They even checked out the University's math department and reviewed the curriculum to help her prepare.

Both of my children attended Mathnasium 2016/2017 school year (2016 summer). We are very pleased with the progress of my daughter, she did well in Algebra I within her first year in high school and passed her math SOL(9th grade)! My son had some struggles in 2016/2017 (7th grade). With the help of Mathnasium it aided in redirecting him to understanding the "Why" of the problems.
We plan on enrolling the kids for the 2017/18 school year! The cost is a little steep, but well worth the results.

My high school son is an honor student however he was getting frustrated with his math grades which were holding him back. He attended 2-3 times a week for 4 months and was able to increase his math grade by 2 full letter grades. My son will be enrolled once again this September. The staff was always focused and pleasant to the students.

My daughter is 6 years old, and we signed her up for Mathnasium during the summer to keep her kindergarten skills fresh. She tends to be very hard on herself and rarely says she is good at anything. She had such a great experience at Mathnasium that she eventually said "I am good at math!" She not only developed great skills but gained confidence in herself. The instructors were encouraging and made may daughter feel at home each time she went in for a session. We will return next summer for sure!

My daughter was failing Algebra 2, if it hadn't been for Mathnasium she would not have passed the course or her SOL. Plus she really enjoyed going and it was never a struggle to get her to go.
