Mathnasium provided the tailored tutoring l that my daughter needed to improve from a grade ‘C’in maths to an ‘A’ over a 3 months period in elementary school. Mr. Dirk, the director was easy to work with and was very informative about their process in helping my student. The tutors were personable and attentive and my student looked forward to attending. Mathnasium offers numerous days and time options that was just what I needed. Additionally, you can schedule the tutoring pretty far in advance or 15 minutes prior to the tutoring session as long as the time slot is available. I look forward to re-enrolling my student in Mathnasium as soon as I possibly can.

My son has been enjoying coming to mathnasium and learning how to tackle the hardest math for him. Once he got it (which stated with concepts on day 1) he’s been a happy camper and no more tears. Best decision we’ve made in over a year! We left Kumon after many tears and an “instructor” that did not know math nor cared about the children. Here I feel they care, they are extremely flexible with our schedule with even last min changes from snow storms, and praise the kids!! He’s thriving more than he ever has! This gave him the confidence to study and feel good instead of defeated. Now he studies on his own and very well. He’s growing b/c his math confidence grew!
I highly recommend Mathnasium. Our 10 year old grandson Elijah has been enrolled for about 9 months. He started in 4th grade and is now in 5th. He started as a C student in math and this year he has maintained a strong A the 1st 9 weeks and beginning the 2nd 9 weeks. He goes 1 hour a day 4 days a week and he loves it and works hard. It’s not just the good grades but his confidence and love of math is increasing.
He is actually understanding 6th grade Algevra concepts. The system that Mathnasium teaches that is specific for each individual child is very effectiive. It also correlates with his school math class.
The manager and entire staff at the Chester Virginia location are all excellent educators and just great people in general.
My last word is: It is worth every penny just to see confidence grow in our grandson in math.
I appreciate the constant communication about my student's progress; the attention to any issues that arise--and quickly too; the flexibility of scheduling is a huge plus.

Our son's math sense has really progressed since starting with Mathnasium nearly a year ago. Scheduling is easy and the virtual sessions are super convenient for our family's busy schedule, helping us save on travel time and gas.
