While the ATTEMPT to make this a better experience than your competitors was obvious, the end result was the same, just more expensive. My stylist did a good job. That is, I was happy with the haircut I received. It looks good. However, I was in and out of the chair in under 5 minutes. She was surely experienced. It was very obvious that she was in a BIG hurry, and her attention was focused on greeting and counting people who walked in the door. I feel like the VIP service is supposed to make you feel "special" and relaxed. It did anything BUT that. It made me feel nervous and tense because the stylist was RUSHED! I feel like there was a TIMER at each step. Although I never actually saw a timer or stopwatch, I felt as though I was taking up too much of her time, that she was in a BIG rush and I was holding her up from taking care of the other customers. I may or may not get as good of a cut next time, but the stylist will certainly be focused on the clock, not on me and my hair. Should I continue to pay extra just to watch a sports channel during my 5 minute haircut or just take my chances at one of your competitors?

I asked the lady who was taking care of me to give me a fade. It seems like she was struggling to understand what a clean and fresh fade is. I explained to her a few times what I was looking for and still walked away with a sub-par haircut. She didn't give me a fade, she trimmed some length off my sides with a razor and didn't properly edge around the cut. This was my 3rd visit - the first two had been great. I am going to a proper barber today to take care of it.
A free haircut or two might make it right, but I am hesitant to try again after this experience
The first impression I had when I entered was that of a busy, professional, very friendly & successful hair salon that appeared to be full service (vs. Great Clips). At my age - the most important aspects of everything are SKILL, COST and CUSTOMER SERVICE. Chelsea was an experienced stylist with exceptional skills - and a caring & pleasant professional attitude. The location of your facility is close to my home and easy to get to.
In summary - your location is excellent, your facility is clean and pleasant to be in - and your staff promotes confidence and trust with their ability and effort...
Doing hair is a low paid and difficult job requiring patience and physical stamina as well as talent and effort. Chelsea was all that and more...
