Wonderful experience. My daughter, Kayleigh, had to make up 1/2 credit of English for her 9th grade year. Sylvan worked with the school and made everything extremely easy for me to get everything set up and worked with us with her schedule through the summer. She completed her credit make up and made a WONDERFUL grade. They really worked with her and we were able to get this completed in more than enough time.

So far, it has been great! I can't wait to see how much growth there has been.

My son came in for an evaluation to monitor gaps that evolved after COVID. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They noted he had closed all of the gaps seen in earlier evaluations but offered to help with study skills and ACT preparation.

We chose to start the 24-session ACT preparation. After a pretest, which revealed the areas he needed to concentrate on, the certified instructors worked on his content, test-taking skills, and understanding of the test itself.

After a lot of complaining, he started to say that "tutoring was good today". After his practice test, he improved his composite score by 3 points and improved his subject area scores by 3, 5, and 2 points.

As a result of his Sylvan experience, he is on target to secure the required scores for admission to the college of his choice. Most important he looked at me and said, "Mom this time I really understood what I was doing and the content of the test. "

We came to Sylvan in need of help. Our child had fallen behind and lacked a traditional public / private school path to graduation. The Sylvan team was positive and reassuring. They evaluated him and his current situation and based on that, proposed an efficient plan to help him graduate on time.

We were treated very well and believe that Sylvan would be a great place to get tutoring help. Unfortunately no one there could help my student with the advanced Math that he is taking. Even though it cost me a lot to register and have one session that was not fruitful, the entire process and staff were very pleasant.

My daughter enjoys attending each week. She actually looks forward to it and comes to the car smiling afterwards. I can tell it's giving her confidence in her areas of study.

My granddaughter struggled with math for a couple of years, and she's a good student so it was very frustrating for her. She basically gave up on math and soon science too. After 3 sessions at Sylvan her math grade came up to an A and science came up to a C. Her self confidence is back and we're all very proud of her accomplishments.

We absolutely love Sylvan! When my son started his confidence was not great, he was struggling with reading comprehension at his regular school. Within 2-3 sessions we noticed a complete change. The most important thing, to us, his confidence was much better and he was more sure of himself. Our son really enjoyed the one-on-one with an instructor and he looked forward to his time there because of that. We highly recommend them to anyone needing something more personalized for their child. It’s affordable and you don’t ever feel any pressure! 10/10 would recommend.
