Student Testimonials
It’s always a positive vibe with friends and team.
Love and appreciate the Core power instructors who inspire and uplift me in my yoga practice and our core power community of friends and families who share aloha.
I like everything. Teachers and classes are great! Many hours to choose from.
Gio was extremely energetic and uplifting. His personality brought joy to me in the class and encouragement to keep pushing!
I like the convenience, power vinyasa, and heat.
I love Melissa Mae's classes because they are the most challenging for C2. She also has a lot of knowledge.
Jade is good too... her classes are well structured and her teaching style is nice for C2.
Everyone is so friendly, especially the managers. I feel loved and supported at CPY. The classes are rigorous and fun. The studio is clean. The location is great with lots of parking!
great studio, great instructors, great location, & a variety of classes to choose from.
❤️
The teachers are great
The studio is managed well
Variety of classes and times available is awesome
Great studio overall
The diversity in all the classes and instructors!
Instructors are very good and location is very convenient!
I am so grateful and appreciative of Gio , who as the manager is an individual that radiates kindness, compassion, and joy. I know running a yoga studio is not easy, and he does it with so much grace- I have remarked on his character in particular because I recently noticed one somewhat surly instructor (a very rare occurrence at CPY) creating some drama (I overheard her). I have not said anything but simply observed Gio and am so impressed with his demeanor. He carries himself with so much poise and I have never heard him utter anything negative about a single situation or person.
Instructors Theresa, Maka, Brooke, Jessica, Suzanne, Cleo, Pierson, Tara, Christy, Jade, Leah (to just name a few) embody what I imagine CPY strives for in creating a sense of community and collaboration. I feel like I go in fractured and come out whole and renewed.
I’d also like to add that the front desk woman, Sandra, is truly a ray of light. She is nothing short of a solar presence who knows almost every member who walks through the door and always greets me (and everyone else!) with a warm smile and words of encouragement.
I am so thankful to CPY!
Natalie was a great instructor. super fun class and i felt great after. atmosphere and vibes were on point
Love the class energy and the teachers are amazing!!
First of all, I wanted to say it was a great idea putting the tampon dispensers in the bathroom stalls. I really haven't had the need lately, but i feel like it's a great idea and super convenient. The only changes I would want is that on the days when there is only one studio available, that you put an even number of strength/sculpt classes and C2/HPF type classes during the time slots right after work. Right now during teacher training here's only 3 back-to-back sculpt classes from 5-730 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I feel like just having ONE C2 class in the mix appeases 99% of all people (who work 9-5 work schedules) who want to do a class that day. Overall, i think you have a great teaching crew and normally a pretty balanced schedule of different classes. I would definitely recommend CPY to anyone and everyone.. and I do!
Rachel's class was lively and upbeat. Love her energy.
Love the variety of classes but love Melissa, the yoga instructor!
Very welcoming and kind.
Nice studio different type of class with a mix of everything!
It was a lovely atmosphere, first time doing yoga and it didn’t feel intimidating. It was a shame about the mike issues, but the instructor was so professional and still give an awesome class.
The instructor Suzanne was amazing! Her energy was contagious and she was extremely welcoming, making me feel at home during a spontaneous vacation workout. Thank you so much!
Many classes
I like Core Power at Ward. I've been a SET member for almost a year. With the new changes of drying yoga mats in the restrooms makes the bathrooms smell very gross. I definitely recommend that the studio should go back to hang drying mats with air ventilation; or at least have fans on in the restrooms for proper ventilation. I've noticed something that looked like mold growing on the mats that drys in the women's bathroom. I believe the moisture from the showers doesn't have proper ventilation for it to dry so the smell tends to stay on the mats longer. Overall, I enjoy coming to the studio for workouts and I love the buddy pass!
I had the most amazing experience at my first core power class. Our instructors Asia was energetic and encouraging to all participants! The class was intense but the most fun I've had working out. The atmosphere was very welcoming to newcomers and when the instructor saw that some of the participants were struggling to keep up she quickly offered modifications to the movements and encouragement. I definitely plan on coming back!
The fact that there's classes from 6am to 8pm. The diversity of teachers and classes offered throughout the day. The teachers are amazing. Their playlist. Everything it's amazing!
Great class. Walked, no parking. Clean.
The check in staff is always friendly and quick to assist members when needed. My first experience was with Jessica Yu and she was very inviting. She talked us through every move so no matter your level, you were able to follow along. I like that she walks around the class and offers assistance when needed; my leg was in the wrong position, she helped me to correct it and that particular move felt much after the correction.
I am a very type A kind of person and I carry a lot of stress in my body, but coming to yoga has been beneficial for my mental and physical health. I feel refreshed after the class and my inner energy seems more balanced.
The classes I took at Ward studio were awesome! I would like to come back to take classes when I visit Oahu and definately I recommend this studio to my friends!
Great instructor with amazing customer service! Clean locker rooms and studios!
I recently attended a yoga session at CorePower led by Natalie, and it was genuinely transformative. From the start, her guidance resonated deeply with both seasoned yogis like myself and beginners. It was my friend's first time at CorePower and only her third yoga session ever, but she's now a firm believer—all thanks to this one class. What truly elevated the experience was the refreshing essential oil spray that Natalie used to conclude our session and her attentive minor adjustments. A heartfelt mahalo to Natalie for such a rejuvenating experience.
