Student Testimonials
It’s a welcoming community.
The teachers are fantastic. Jess, Eric z, Lindsey, Katie. As a long-time Black Tag member, I’ve always appreciated the thought and care that typically goes into the schedule. Unfortunately, the recent change made yesterday had a significant negative impact on both practitioners and instructors.
The 8:00 AM class, which is consistently well-attended and valued by many, was left with only a 15-minute transition due to a newly added class beforehand. This created a rushed and chaotic experience in one of the studio’s largest and busiest time slots.
It was disappointing—not just for me, but for many of the regular attendees who rely on that class as a core part of their routine.
I’m hopeful that, under Ruth’s leadership, future scheduling decisions will more thoughtfully consider the on-the-ground experience and the ripple effects on the community.
The teachers are very kind and the classes are labeled accurately so students know what to expect from the class.
Awesome per usual
I always love coming to CorePower for scupt and level 2 flow classes - I find these are consistently good workouts and challenging classes.
I appreciate that the Bellevue studio has made an effort to make sure cleaning supplies are always on hand - that feels essential to me and I don't understand when studios run out of these items (ie mat wipes/ spray).
I also appreciate the complimentary parking. It's a really lovely amenity.
My only complaint (and it's mild) is that I'd like to see the 6a classes end on time. If people are coming to a 6AM class, it's because their lives are busy. When the class ends at 7:05 or sometimes even later, that can leave me rushing as I often do not have many minutes to spare between the end of my workout and the start of my workday. If class is running long, that's okay! But, please let us know when it is 7a so if we need to, we can slip out.
Thanks!
Excellent teachers, clean facility, free parking in the locked garage is a huge plus. Locker room and showers are clean, the studios the perfect size, not too large nor small. I usually go to the Bellevue Corepower, but sometimes make the drive into Queen Anne for variety and for the teachers.
The instructors are so nice and knowledgeable I always feel great after lessons!
Smooth for every level of yoga. Smooth sign up and free parking!!
Had a great session.
I love the class level of challenge. It was great.
Great choice of classes and some really top notch instructors. Feel like I’m so much stronger than when I started.
Great community, great workouts!
The Studio is well run and communicates promptly by text messages any change in schedules. They do a nice job of providing cleaning supplies for your mat and keeping the heating.HVAC filters clean (visible when you lay down on your mat).
Ballard location is great! Comfortable dressing rooms. Great classes and instructors. Love Ruth and the whole crew at this location! Ruth makes it a special place.
The instructors are great. And the room is nice and toasty.
I love the teachers and staff at the studio. They are great.
It was my first class at this CorePower location. It was great! It was my first time in a more intimate class and I absolutely loved it. The instructor was great and I can't wait to go back and take another one. Arrive early (i did not) to find parking and allow yourself to prepare for class in there beautiful space.
I love corepower! It is the highlight of my day and has improved my mental, physical, and spiritual health.
The instructors are great and I enjoy the vibe of each class!
Great instructors at Capitol Hill Studio (Seattle) ! Love the evening Candlelight Evening Yoga sessions!
Emily is a fantastic instructor
The class times, cleanliness, and class options
I loved the studio and the instructor was amazing! Unlike my other studio, the instructor and people in the class were a lot more intentional and wanted feedback to actually make the class better! Loved it here.
Shilpi is a wonderful instructor. Very positive. Encouraging us to all have a smile on our faces even while doing difficult poses does make it go better. It also is a good practice to carry into life outside the yoga studio. thank you.
As an older experienced practitioner, I appreciate the calm steady guidance of the CorePower teachers. We can bring our own practice at whatever point we are at and the teachers are supportive and non-pedantic. I can vary the intensity and add my own additional poses without getting slapped down like in some styles and studios. One's practice has to grow and change as our bodies age, and CorePower gives me that room and space. For me, the C2 level classes are the perfect mix of intensity and relaxation. I travel a lot for work and find the CorePower studios in the cities I've been are all consistently high in their standards of teaching, cleanliness, and sense of community. I also appreciate the free parking at the in-city studios which makes it convenient and affordable to attend classes.
I love the Sunday community class! It is challenging but adaptive to each individual's capability. I have brought friends to this class along. It was fun!
Subra is the BEST. Grounded energy and thoughtful flows. Strong hands-on-assists when you opt in, too. Thank you! : )
Excellent staff & facilities! Brittany teaches a great class with excellent pacing! Elizabeth's flows are unique and fun! Zanzi brings a challenging flow with great energy! Cameron delivers a fun flow with nice stretches! Ruth always has a great class with a warm sense of community!
I love that there is a sense of community with Core power, and as someone who is still a beginner in most of my classes, it feel good to know that I'm not being judged or made to feel inferior. I like the variety of classes and times that are offered as well, however I wish there were more CSX classes after typical working hours.

I love the studio and the instructors!!
