Student Testimonials
Alexis' class was lovely! it's always a pleasure to practice at Uptown and I was impressed with the warmth of Studio 2.
The teachers are empowering and the workout always gets me feeling great!
I love corepower, I’ve been going here for 1.5 years, over 200 classes, and I never get sick of it. I love Caitlin L, Christine w, and lanises classes.
I used to go to Carmen’s 6:00am HPFs and I really miss her. Those were awesome classes. I am a huge fan of Christine’s morning classes. I know they aren’t as popular of classes but whatever we can do to get more morning classes that aren’t sculpt on the schedule would be amazing. They’re great for working folks with a 9-5 office job. Everyone that attended them was very loyal to them and would go every day. The spread we have now is great but I hope they don’t get removed.
I love this studio and will continue going!
You should consider hosting social events that aren’t just yoga related. Like a happy hour at a nearby bar or restaurant with a drink deal for the yogis. Or something not alcoholic. Even something in studio! I feel surrounded by very likeminded people but it’s hard to make friends in the short windows of time before and after class.
The instructor was excellent and had great practice. The studio was clean and everyone seemed friendly.
Great workout and friendly staff! Lots of times available as well
I love the environment at the Uptown Studio! I always feel welcomed and appreciated. It’s always exceptionally clean as well.
Nice, clean studio
Friendly teachers and clean facilities.
Love the yoga sculpt classes and the instructors have been great! There have been some times where a person attending the classes has been super distracting, not following instructions or doing their own thing to an extreme extent. I know it's probably difficult to do anything about that, but otherwise I love CPY!
Great experience great teachers but there are still no heavier weights. Every studio except Uptown has 20s and 25s it makes no sense. Just get at least one set of heavier weights like every other studio in the city has. Please and thank you its ruining my gains.
Clean studio and not crowded which was nice
Love the people love the vibes
The cumulative learning experience over time has been invaluable to me. The teachers, while each is different, they bring their own unique perspectives, energy and personality to the studio, creating the best possible environment to nature growth in the practice. Are they perfect? No, but the welcoming of after session feedback is very often transformed into immediate action.
CorePower truly operates from a “We’re all in this together” mindset.
Professional and great staff there!!
I love all of them!
Location, environment, not toooo hot, great instructor
Facilities and teachers predictable.
Community and instructors
Love it
I like the variety of class times throughout the day and night!
Great teacher and inclusive of all levels
i live audrey's yoga sculpt classes
The is a consistently well operated studio. It may be a little rough around the edges but it is kept clean and the instructors are super well engaged. I’ve been to 2 other CorePower locations, Lakeview and Lincoln Park and feel that Uptown outshines.
Facility is clean and instructors are welcoming.
There’s a variety of classes and the instructors make sure to make me feel welcome! They are very supportive and encouraging. I like the sense of community there.
I love classes with Courtney. She is the best.
Loved my first class here with Lauren. She crushed Yoga Sculpt! Can't wait to take more classes at this studio.
Always decently challenging and feel awesome after I finish a workout
Close, easy to schedule, variety of classes
Everything! My favorite instructors, the music, sculpt as a workout, amount of locations across the city, and the way I feel after. I recommend CP to everyone that will listen!

I did Audrey's Sculpt class on Tuesday. I really liked that it mostly ditched any yoga in favor of more exercise-focused moves. Not that I have anything against yoga, it just seems sometimes forced when you're working with weights.
