the vibe and the class
I was visiting my daughter who lives in the South Bay Area, and she took me to the studio - what a wonderful experience! We tried three different classes and each one was fantastic. The instructors were amazing, and the variety of classes were fabulous. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and coming back to the studio.

It feels so welcoming and the vibes are always open to be whatever I'd like them to be.
1. Kate M's instruction at the Torrance location! She always has a notebook with her planned workouts, motivates people in the class by learning names and encouraging us by name, and also does a lot of the workout with us so she feels like a trainer and more like a camrade when we are all suffering through the workout!
2. The etiquette of the class goers - people mostly respect the marked areas to place your yoga mat in class and ensure everyone has space. Also class goers are thoughtful of their body odor - I've been to other yoga places where class goers are not considerate of their BO, but this location people are more aware and thoughtful which makes for a more relaxing class.
Everything! Studio is nice, teachers are great and plenty of parking.

I was a little nervous for my first time in a yoga sculpt class (and my first time ever doing yoga), but Kirby made her class both fun and effective. It was a wonderful, albeit very sweaty, experience
It was such a fabrous time to attend the class.
Mai was amazing. Her lessons were enjoyable and had just the right level of challenge, then I found them very rewarding. It was also great to see that she herself was clearly enjoying teaching the lessons.
I'm sure I can come back to her lesson.

I really enjoy the energy of the Hermosa studio…great instructors and wonderful yoga community! I like taking class from Andrea, Ali P, Carla, Dani, Madison and Ryanne to name a few. Rachel and Dani do a great job with class offerings and staffing. There’s always a good class/teacher that fits my schedule!

I did C1. A dimly lit room gives a feeling of "inward and personal" practice. My teacher, Letizia was thorough and attentive to everyone's needs.

Love this studio. It’s walking distance for me and most of the teachers are top notch. I know the SET folks work hard, I wish the students respected the studio more as far as picking up after themselves and not flooding the bathrooms if they’re showering.
