I love Medford MA Core Power, especially the Yoga Sculpt classes lead by Gabby and her recent 2 month sub Lydia. These two woman are knowledgeable, genuine, kind and radiate immense positive energy. The level of intensity and skill they bring to the class is superb. They constantly help elevate my exercise routine and help me strive for excellence in my workouts and keep me coming back each week for more.

Two downsides:
1.) mean bathroom always wet
2.) some of the instructors more recently have been really jacking up the heat, and it seems like the class more of a sauna than a workout. I feel like when I look around a lot of the people begin taking more breaks simply because they can’t breathe, or you see people’s form break down. I can’t help but wonder at what point does the heat and humidity detract from the workout of the majority of students, particularly with the smaller space and lower roof, which seems to meaningfully contribute to the humidity at this location vs. other locations in the city. Some of the teachers seem more aware of this and will adjust the heat or open the door more often, while some seem to go the other way.
I was visiting from Chicago and I found the studio to be extremely clean. Even my rental mat seemed brand new

I absolutely love CorePower! It’s a great workout. I get my whole body moving and it’s so intentional that mentally I only focus on the class making me truly present. Checca is amazing and I’ve known her since she started as a Coordinator. I’ve recommended multiple friends and family members to sign up and take classes!
