Student Testimonials
Love the South Loop CorePower Yoga studio. Cara is absolutely amazing for the C1 class. Definitely felt so much better after attending!
I love taking a sculpt class! It’s been my favorite class and I’m always looking forward to going! Mariah has the best playlist and it’s so much fun taking her class.
The studio was very welcoming and inviting
Mariah and Desiree led a phenomenal Thanksgiving inspired C2/Sculpt class! While the sequences were abbreviated, Desiree ensured the class was warm before launching into a challenging and creative Sun A and Sun B, followed by brief core work. Mariah’s Sculpt was amazing! Her sequence was energetic and dynamic, we got a full body workout in a short amount of time. We are thankful to have such exceptional talent teaching in CPY Chicago studios. Please keep the class mash-ups coming!
I enjoy the heat and the friendly atmosphere
Great instructors, multiple sites to practice near me, all are very welcoming and the exercise is great.
I enjoy the variety of class schedules they offer. I love the diversity in teachers.
The teacher (Amanda) was awesome! She was very friendly, welcoming, considerate, and encouraging.
Loved the upper level view at night and Desiree was a great instructor.
The Heated classes
Speaking specifically about Britney Y’s sculpt class - it really does feel like yoga sculpt. She does not skimp on the yoga part, making sure she’s really showing us the right form. I also love that I can actually hear her. Many yoga sculpt teachers don’t seem to realize that their music is so loud and that the students are looking around each other to know what we’re supposed to be doing. It’s especially bad if you’re situated right under the speakers. Britney’s volume is perfect. We can feel the beat and hear both her and the music. Great energy and great vibe all around.
Everything! The south loop location is hands down the best. Everyone from members to staff is so kind and the energy there is contagious. You feel very comfortable.
Always clean and they always have towels when you need one.
Consistent high quality classes
Liset at South Loop is incredible!
I've been attending classes at South Loop for years and I've noticed the classrooms are not as clean as they can be. The air seems very dirty as well. Can you please request a full deep clean?
The CPY staff is always very inviting and welcoming
The practice was amazing. The ambiance was incredible. Love it.
80+ classes later and here are my thoughts-
My sister was in town and had me sign up for a free week with her. To be honest, I wasn’t planning on purchasing a membership because I didn’t see the value. It wasn’t until I took Kelley Gs class that converted me. Her creativity and dedication to her classes is unmatched! She definitely keeps you on your toes with the sequences, which I love. It’s never boring and there’s always room for a fun challenge. I was a bit heartbroken when she dropped from teaching 3x at South Loop to only 2. I’ll take what I can get and do my best to catch every class!
Another HUGE shoutout goes out to Mariah. I wish she was teaching more classes, especially the early morning ones. There’s an opening on Fridays at 6AM south loop and please take this as my petition to have her fill it. Her Yoga sculpt class on Saturdays at noon is TOP TIER. Mariah is born for this. She has the voice to power you through the sequence in the most soothing way. I don’t know how to describe it. It’s one of those you have to be there moments. But that’s just extra. The actual workout is sooo good. I have a huge appreciation for it. It takes a level of genius to build and provide a structured sequence like she does. The timing, the exercises, the variations, everything about is is just chefs kiss. Oh and I can’t forget her playlist. It makes the world’s difference in helping me push until the very end!
I just love both of their classes so much! With everything going on in my personal life, I can always count on them and their sessions for a much needed reset. Once I enter, nothing else matters. Once I leave, I’m well equipped to handle what lies ahead.
Instructions and class challenges
The instructor began the session by asking, "What brought you to your mat today?" My response was for a deeper connection with my body and mind. Throughout the practice, I felt blood flowing to areas that had long needed movement and stretching, revitalizing them in ways I hadn’t anticipated. I concluded the session with an extended meditation, leaving me with a sense of well-being that resonated throughout my body.
Such an amazing and welcoming class. We will be back!
Space is the best
Friendly atmosphere. Comfortable vibe. Challenging classes
10s across the board would recommend this location to my grandmother !!!! S/o to Andrea G HPF classes.
The most amazing view for a yoga studio. Nothing is more powerful than starting and ending your movement with a sunrise or sunset at the south loop studio. Plus free parking in Chicago. Yes please.
