the classes times are very flexible and the instructors are friendly and professional.
wonderful teachers, clean studio and locker rooms, challenging classes
Great place to practice overall. I most enjoy the heated studio, the variety of class times, the ability to easily park, the locker rooms, the skyline view, and most of the instructors are great. Some of the instructors could use more experience, and also the heat level in the studio is not consistent. Some instructors like it hotter than others, and when they ask in the beginning of class if the heat is ok, no one wants to complain because someone else may prefer it that hot. It would be nice to just have consistency. Also there have been numerous times the women's locker room is unheated, which is really unbearable after morning class when you have to shower and get ready for work. Also in the summer the lack of shades when the sun rises make the room dangerously hot. I will not be able to practice there in the mornings during summer. Last summer there were a few times I thought I was going to pass out. Last, the water bottles are way over priced. Students already pay an inflated price to practice at core power, at least you could have reasonable priced water. Better yet, other CP studios have nice water fountains that have filtration. The BPA in plastic bottles is bad for your health and for the environment anyways. There are times I forget my glass bottle and cringe at being ripped off to damage my health. The one negative against CP is that yoga is spiritual in nature and CP is a corporate structure and $2 bottles of water are just a reminder that profit is at the core. There are times I've suggested things and heard "I wish we could do that but corporate won't let us." I assume this is true about the shades and the water. I will continue to practice there minus these few grievances because unlike other studios I can park, take class before work, and shower.
