Our experience at lunchtime was great.
Last 4 visits were great. The most recent visit was not good (4/3/2021). Wings were tasteless not much sauce or flavor. We Ordered extra hot and it tasted like bottle bbq sauce no heat. We love east coast wings but the inconsistent food is not a good thing.

If you keep the reviews I've given you in the past you know that I have ALWAYS rated the Kingsport ECW at the top of the charts. Cannot do that for the one in Johnson City, TN nor the one in Hickory, N.C. and unfortunately this time I can't give the Kingsport unit high marks. I ate the Patty Melt there and it was top-notch as always. However, I wanted to take some wings home for later consumption by me and my Pug, Buddy. Since he cannot have most spices, I ordered 5 wings plain as I have done before. I sat down about 7pm to eat and feed Buddy. For the first time in my many, many consumption of ECW products, these wings were the worst I have ever tried to eat … they were extremely tough and overcooked, very near inedible.. Maybe that was because I waited too long to eat them but have done it the same way lots of time and they were as good as when I bought them. That is my only complaint. The service was great as it always is. My waitress - and I'm sorry I forgot her name - was attentive, friendly, helpful, etc. as they always are. This one experience will NOT prevent me from returning at a future date so don't be concerned about that. Everyone is entitled to make a mistake once in awhile. I managed fast-food places and a couple full-service restaurants as well as managing motels and none of them were perfect even though we tried hard to make them that way. Awesome wing joint, sandwiches are amazing, especially the chicken Philly! From NY and been in TN for 14 years now and GOOD wings are impossible to find, let alone great... until we tried them here, well done guys, well done!

Only issue I had was on a order of wings I wanted traditional but when waiters asked amount it changed to the boneless. Didn't t notice till I got home.
The staff is always nice and friendly. I love the food. They have the best salads!!!
