I love Core Power, have been a member for years and the one and only reason I had to stop, was the amount of the membership. I still try to go as often as I can afford, all classes are great! Highly recommend!

HOT POWER FUSION

During my free week, I went to classes in Sherman Oaks and Encino, all with my friend Jeannie who introduced me to your studios -- and is more advanced than me, so I was in "non-beginners"classes. All three instructors were *great* overall. I enjoyed each of their takes on flow, and how they guided us through the class, sometimes sharing their own experiences with yoga practice, which I loved hearing. They were patient with me given that I am relatively new to yoga, but pretty flexible and strong so I may seem like I know what I'm doing at first (I know some yoga moves but not the names!!) I never felt pressured, rushed or shamed, which is important to me - especially when I'm trying something new.

I very much appreciate how seriously the instructors take the "practice" and guiding us out of each class. That seems like what yoga should be to me, not a competitive sport (I've played enough of those). I have also seen / heard instructors tell the class it's OK to take breaks, and while I have not needed to do so, I have seen others -- more advanced than me - do so, and had it recognized that this was OK. This seems good to me as well.

This feedback is largely about the instructors and the culture, which seem very important. The studios are also nice, and the locker rooms are nice, clean and well equipped. All good!

Good vibes, easy to follow, and convenient

Ryan is absolutely amazing! His class was a total killer but in the best way possible. His energy was great and his music was even better. I've ever sweat like that ever.

This is a very nice facility. Very classy and comfortable. The classes are always great and so ar the instructors.

I normally only have positive feedback, but I wanted to send feedback here and to my local studio as well. There have recently been some changes in scheduling and some of the other students and I are unhappy about them. In particular, one teacher, Yvonne, has taught a class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am for years now. She's integral to our experience at this studio. Many of us organize our lives around her classes and she has basically created a home for us for that one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays that we're on our mats with her. Some of us only started going upside down in that room with her. And then recently, her schedule was changed and she is now only teaching a class at 10 am on Tuesday. There doesn't seem to be much of a reason for it, and it just feels like our experience as students wasn't meaningfully considered. This also followed on the heels of another longtime teacher who moved out of state after teaching a class on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 am for years. Change is great - but this just seems like change for change's sake. Many of us are hoping that the schedule will revert back.
