The cost of the memberships - you’re one of the most expensive local memberships. Elixr is 38 dollars per week and offers a lot more classes other than just yoga and Pilates reformer (which they specialize in) but your fees are 65-67 dollars. To join Speedos it’s 29 bucks per week for example. Fitness First platinum starts at 30 per week. I think you need to re consider your pricing lots of your members were stood down or made redundant during covid lockdown and with the chance of rolling lockdowns people are feeling less inclined to lock themselves in bc they will have to cancel or suspend. I would come more if your drop in prices were also more like 25 dollars per class. Also other places offer a free trial you don’t … you’ve got intro offers but Elixr offers a one day trial. Fitness First a five day trial and so on. No one wants to lock themselves in without giving something a go - and while your intro prices are designed to give people an op to try as many as possible from a PR perspective a one day free trial would be a good marketing exercise.
Great teacher and class and lovely light filled studio. Great locker room facilities
I’m new. The manager is beautiful and helpful /kind - particularly at a time when things are a little different/stressful because of the health regulations.
It’s good to know that you’re doing your best to follow the (confusing and ever changing) rules. The teachers Lara and Rebecca and Maryanne are great and I’m looking forward to meeting/practising with other instructors.
I did a trial in the middle of the year and wasn’t resonating at all with one of the teachers (
who was on ALL the time) and her anti vaccination vibe (plus yoga is NOT Instagram!) - we are , after all in a pandemic and it’s important to all be considerate/kind and keep each other safe - so I decided not to join back then because of her. I love the Pilates reformer beds (v new for me) and the yoga. I have done yoga for over a decade and I’m looking forward to doing more at BML! I will be recommending my friends (locals) come over too although the places they go to practice are cheaper and some of them have financial constraints. It’s a lovely space and I’m so excited to be a member : )
A place that I can come back to being happy at- finding a truly happy balance.
Trainers are friendly and chatty, they provide great training classes with options for different difficulty levels.
Intimate gym good instructors
Friendly, knowledgeable teachers.
Clean, beautiful facilities
Not much
Great yoga teachers
Friendliness
Booking system is frustrating. It says “waitlist full” so you can’t even go on a waitlist but then people report that the class isn’t full. Could we have more classes so that there are after work/business hrs open classes (6.30pm ) then yin please?
Timetable changes. Since I became a member these have happened regularly for the mornings. It's inconsistent and difficult to form routines. Lately, there are no classes before 7am at all that I can attend before work and very little after. There was no communication when the times were changed and if they will be reinstated or not.
I love everything, but am sad that Kevin has left.
The atmosphere, philosophy, and the classes. I like the way every teacher display their own way of teaching, without having to be always the same intensity, or patterns, or movements during the work out !

I like how the classes are conducted, the music is not too loud and you can hear the instructors.
Pilates classes are offered at advanced and beginner level.
Discount rates offered to senior.
Everything! The studio gives me the warmth welcome. I feel I’m in a safe space. Every time I step into the studio, I feel secured. The front staff is very nice and polite and friendly, especially Emma. The pilates classes that I joined encourage me to empower myself, giving me the sense of self-care and mindfulness.
friendly staff, excellent teachers, clean studios
The Pilates teacher are all amazing! Charlotte and Vee’s classes are always challenging with plenty of variety. It is a great community at BML
Stop taking new members to manage capacity better
I really like BML and the team was responsive during lockdown and membership $ questions.
PLEASE can you add a hand sanitizer by the door before people enter (the main outside entrance, Bondi) and another one by the door to the studio (glass wall). This is good Covid practice and no one currently seems to be using the one on the registration desk (can’t really see its there!). Thanks
Really great yoga instructors, nice facilities and and usually good variety of classes and times. The current limited timetable is not great though.
The studio floor is always dirty
Not always the case but Teachers being a bit more professional and prepared
The mens change room is not good-- 2 showers have been broken for some time--and the lockers are 1/2 what they used to be --top row to lockers too high up for easy use.
Many my perferred yoga teachers are no longer teaching---staff turnover is expected--but would like more rigorous classes on offer to replace classes that were on offer from Sam Hann, Ari, Norma, David and Danielle C
Energy. Variety and amount of classes and schedules. Beautiful teachers. Quick support.
The staff is awesome! Alicia (I’m not sure that is how you spell it) and Emma are always smiling. You can tell even under their masks.
The studio is huge and very nicely decorated and kept. Having said that, although it is clean, I think the amount of people that come through requieres more cleaning, specially of bathrooms.
Good teachers. Well run studio.
There are no classes past 630 which is hard if commuting after work. I would really appreciate a 7pm class or a 645 class to increase flexibility
The studio it always clean and tidy, the classes are always on time and the teachers are wonderful!

It's all pretty great just less convenient for me now. It would have been 10 if the Redfern studio was still open!
