Great teachers
Not disappointed just prefer the Bondi and Surry Hills studio.
Great location! Love Sarah Routhier's classes!
For beginners I think the phase is pretty fast to cope up.
Apart from the trainer there is only one person to help the participants to correct the postures. I think there should be few more people given the strength of the class.
Nothing! It was clean and the class very challenging (which I love). The only thing stopping me is the lack of parking in t he area (I live in Bondi), but that is not your responsibility.
Less people in a class, more instructions to modify postures for those not at an advanced level, more personable instructors
Cozy and quiet environment
Not clean as others
The studio is lovely, Sonia is wonderful, great times for classes and it is close to work - what's not to like
Your service is perfect!
I like the studio locations, the yoga schedule that allows to choose from the variety of classes as well as the quality of teachers.
However, one thing that could slightly improve is the cleanliness of the yoga rooms.
I've attended a class at the redfern studio this weekend and had to wipe the floor around my mat with a tissue to remove a bunch of hair and dust.
The hair seemed to be of different colours and lengths suggesting the floor hasnt been wiped for some time.
As we spend almost 1/2 of the class on the floor, it would be comforting to know we don't breath all of that in.
Thank you.
There is no disappointment of sorts. As inclusive as the place claims to be, I personally did not get that. Some staff are friendly to people that they know and not to everyone (noticed even for like tours they give) It might not be intentional (might be a bad day), but the friendliness and kindness should be extended to everyone that walks through the door. The walls are a little thin so the excitement and laughter from the front can be heard when we are in savasana. No complains, just mindfullness I guess. I do give a high 8-9 for the Yoga teachers as they are dedicated and helpful in more ways that just delivering a class. Everyone comes to BML for different purposes, mine is more to declutter the mind and focus inwards, so this feedback is based on my experience and expectations for BML, for me.
Namaste.
Staff, the facilities and classes all brilliant.
Staff are always friendly, classes are well constructed, bathrooms very clean, plenty of seating prior to class and timetable suits my needs.
The ambiance, pretty outlook and chilled vibe. Quite a varied range of Teachers which I like.
I would appreciate being able to use some of my pilates class passes for the odd yoga class, given the pilates classes are more expensive anyway. The pilates classes fill up so quickly and sometimes i just want to be able to do a class of any kind!
I would have liked to hear more music in the background, slightly louder...
I didn't feel the essentials classes were fit for purpose for actual beginners. I couldn't do a lot of the poses and have decided to go elsewhere so I can do classes I can keep up with!
1.Improve your reformer Pilates machines
2.Have a proper app in which it sends reminders and member can view, book and cancel classes.
3. Your Pilates align is not suitable for beginners as advertised and claimed on your website. It was relatively quite advanced and somd of the exercises were quite risky and/or highly unsuitable for new people.
I just came back from practicing in Europe and am so happy to be back with Noelle, Brooke, Christian and my BML community and family. But, the standard length of classes in Europe is 90 minutes and it makes a huge difference to the class. You can warm up properly, go much deeper into your practice and the benefits of this 90 minute daily practice are visible. Please, please can we add daily 90 minute classes to the schedule? Or at the very least increase the 60 minute classes. It’s so frustrating to only ever have a 60 minute option in the mornings and during the day, unless the 6.30pm class which are 75 of course or Noelle on Sunday and Thursday. Is there any way the 6.30 could become 90 minute or the morning class start earlier to have 75 or 90 minutes? It would be great to have this option introduced.
Hoping brooky will do some of the sat am progressive classes whilst she’s here in bondi. Have really missed her and Noelle during that time slot.
Love and light x
Your beautiful space. The teachers are fabulous (actually that's the first thing I like and the most important). The way you organise your venue (e.g. phones in lockers, no shoes in studio - sounds so obvious but I have sadly just moved from two studios that don't do this). That you run 90 minute classes sometimes. The proximity to Central station. The number and variety of classes you run... I can do an early morning class every day not every other day. Some of the initiatives you offer and the extras (e.g. tempting yoga clothes).
Amazing community and eclectic mix of wonderful teachers
Warm welcome. Nice studio
The start to class is always a bit hectic with the other class finishing at the time this one is meant to start.
For the align classes where they come right after another classes, maybe you could have another staff member there to assist the newbies with setup, so it's not just the teacher trying to get everybody settled?
Great timetables, teachers and studio spaces. The ability to swap between locations.
