Great foundation for children to learn how to play a new instrument!

Both our kids love their bands and its awesome that they have the opportunity to perform at public venues. The staff is great and very responsible and helpful. This is an awesome place for kids to develop their musical and performance skills.

My only suggestion would be to try to institute some kind of process or evaluation so that kids of about the same ability are grouped together in a band. My son is in a band at a pretty advanced level, and some new people were introduced who are not at the same level. So the band is kind of backtracking rather than improving. It would be good if there was an audition or some process to avoid this happening.

Leo is a fantastic teacher for our young kids. Great mix of fun with technique.

Flexibility

Awesome team in the Gaithersburg location. My son had a karaoke party with his friends and everyone had a blast!

The lessons. Teacher very good, very organized and works on specifics. Cindy is the best teacher I have ever had, whether woodwinds or piano. I am fortunate to have her for a teacher.

There is flexibility in the scheduling, friendly teachers, online lessons if needed, online homework, rewards for practice time and the teachers seem patient and experienced.

The availability of times and different instruments is great. being able to get both private voice lessons and group if she wants is a huge plus. All the staff/instructors have been great

Small class size, very friendly relaxed yet competent instructors. Appreciate the flexibility for neurodiverse kids and young adults.

I love the class options but do wish you could start private lessons at a younger age. It seems like the staff has high turnover rates. I hope that you can get some steady people. We have been happy with everyone and our child's progress and would hate to lose this place!

Every single person at the academy is super professional, good musicians and tutors, courteous, hardworking, and friendly. The academy is central located, easy to reach and park safely. There are many musicians, each one of whom is more talented than each other, and are extremely eager to teach. They stage band shows almost each month so that the children can play and show their talents to overwhelm the scene fear and all. My son has been taking piano lessons from Ben for several months now, and we can’t thank them enough for all the improvement he has made so far. Highly recommended!

Nothing but great experiences with the Staff- friendly and knowledgeable. They make it fun for my son and he truly looks forward to his lessons!

The instructors! Brandon is an amazing teacher that has tailored his approach to my skill level and experience. Lane has inspired and encouraged my daughter to continue exploring voice. We like him so much we have cancelled other music lessons with another company and solely come to B2R.

Our daughter has loved her piano lessons and band practice! And my husband has started bass lessons and has enjoyed those too!

You have flexible time with skilled teachers. I like that you offer other opportunities to participate with music other than just the regular weekly lesson. Unfortunately, with my grandchildren schedules I just haven’t been able to take advantage of it, but I’m still hoping to do that in the future. I think you offer a well rounded program. Thank you.

Teacher Mike A is so patient and works so well with kids!

I love that just having vocal lessons has expanded and now she is in a band. She loves her vocal teacher and the teacher that is there for the band. My daughter has had the opportunity to explore so much regarding her music/vocal skills and she loves going. Never has she ever said she doesn’t want to go!!! And she also has the opportunity to record songs that she has worked on and also has been asked to attend local events. We love supporting her!!!

My daughter has a glee class and she loves it. Being around common minded individuals is what my daughter craves and I love how much she looks forward to class.btw she is 15.

James is an awesome instructor and has been so patient with my first grader, especially with her first performance. The staff has been so helpful and responsive to all inquiries. Highly recommend the school!
