My son had so much fun at camp this week! It would have been really great if one of his instructors had followed up to speak about his aptitude for the instruments he was playing and any feedback on his skills/growth.

My son has been taking lessons at the Mckinney B2R for more than 2 years. He started DJ lessons and worked with Travis; an exceptional teacher and talented DJ and creative artist. Then decided he wanted to also try out drums with Christian and rock band with Gavin and those instructors have been fantastic as well, guiding my son to learn but also allowing him to try out different methods of teaching. It’s been a wonderful fit for my son no matter what class or camp he has taken.

I like how professional everyone is. I like that the instructors are very patient with you. They make sure that you are understanding and progressing in the program. They answer all of your questions that you may have. The whole experience was very enjoyable. I learned a lot. I came to them to learn how to Dj. I was a self taught Dj and learned very quickly, I didn't quite have a total understanding about how Djing works. My instructor name is Ian. He is very knowledgeable and a experience excellent instructor. This place I highly recommend. I'm 56 and it goes to show you that you're never old to learn.

Different, customizable, personal, fun.

I like the option of small group classes or one-on-one lessons, as well as the variety of offerings that they give. The cost is very affordable as well. The teachers show passion in what they are doing and have excellent rapport with my girls. They make learning music fun

We love our teacher Mr Travis. We like that it is easy to reschedule and that they call to remind me we have a rescheduled lesson planned. We also like that there are recitals for the kids to work toward.

Everyone is always very frindly and knowledgeable. The instructors are always very patient with the kids learning their instruments of choice.

A (age11) started piano lessons in March and remains engaged. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Easy to change schedule as needed. Missed lessons are placed in make up bin so can be taken at another time.
Staff very willing to discuss what is needed to make sure lessons are successful on an individual level. Fully recommend.

We love summer camps and lessons here! Highly recommend. All of the staff are attentive to the kids and encouraging of their music success.

Fun and engaging rock band camp. Kids have an opportunity to learn different instruments. Concert really elevates the experience for the kids. This was the 2nd year and plan to be back for a 3rd next year.

I was happy to find something for our 4 year old grandson. He was excited by what he was doing, not overwhelmed. He liked his teacher.

First and foremost, the academy and all the staff, especially our tutor Ben, are super professional and friendly. These are the 2 main features one looks for, thinking that our children are the students. Professionalism and a friendly approach are all it takes to make a perfect music school. Ben is one of the best teachers we have come across so far. My son can’t wait for the lessons both because he learns piano very quickly and because he loves working with his teacher. Other staff, as well, are all young, energetic, and friendly. They perform some shows once in every month to make children more confident in front of public. They make great music!
