The instructors are very friendly.
The small class sizes, flexibility in scheduling and availability of class dates and times. The coaches are qualified and kid centered.
I have one concern about the cleanliness of the women's locker room at the swim studio. It smells of mildew, the floors, walls and changing tables are dirty.
My kids left the first class excited about swimming and feeling confident that they could float on their backs and that they'd learned the backstroke and breaststroke. Their instructor, Elia, made a nice connection with them.
I have only had one lesson so far. I don't think that is enough to formulate an opinion right now.
I haven't visited the facility yet; additionally, I have been trying to contact someone for a week, having left messages and calling on several occasions; it was by chance that someone was in the office when I called yesterday, and they were very helpful and speedy.
Our initial reservation was not made correctly. If we hadn't called to ask a question about swim gear we would have never known.

While there is a sign asking for shoes to be removed prior to enter the pool area in order to keep the space clean, very few people comply and there is no request from staff that see this to change the situation. Nor are users of the facility asked to shower prior to entering the pool even though it is a requirement of use.
Additionally, those that use Blue Dolphins understandibly don't take the previously mentioned sign seriously as the pool area is a mess: the area is in disarray and not organised, there are items haphazardly stacked or put in locations that clearly only a temporary home, items lost by previous users are lying around the facility, towels and other items have been in the locations they are currently seen for a long time.
Overall the facility does not present like a professional facility and having children use the area while such a haphazard mess and choking hazards present is disappointing for the good work the swim instructors do.
Great coaches. I am dissappointed, however, that for two weeks the inpool camera system is not working.

Class size, friendly, on time.
It's not you. It just depends on what the recommendation is for. For adults working on technique, I suspect the Elston studio is great. For young kids just leaning, the same. I just think the endless pool has some limitations for intermediate stroke instruction for older kids
Convenient location and friendly staff.
My daughter seems really happy in her class, has fun, enjoying getting comfortable in the water. I wish there was more skill focus. She only did 1 glide the whole class. And she was asked to kick, but I'm wondering if there are ways to help her understand how she should be kicking. (She's 2 1/2 yrs) Thanks.
