Your team’s service was exceptional. I never got the name of the associate who helped me, but she was a younger black woman with blonde dyed hair.
Several of the groomsmen in our party forgot to pick up belts they purchased with their orders across multiple locations. Your associate called every location our group visited and checked who forgot a belt. She was able to work with those stores to transfer belt purchases to the Northridge store, so I could deliver belts to the rest of the group, the day before the event. Excellent service.
As for the actual suits and accessories, they were sub-par compared to other rental services I’ve used. I did not choose the suit myself, so in all fairness, I don’t know what the full options are.
The suit model our group rented was absurdly slim fit, even though the suit style is not “skinny”. It was a modern style suit with the tightest crotch/rise area we had ever seen. We had a range of body types and almost everyone’s pants were uncomfortably tight.
If you are going to offer that model, your fitters should be more aware that it is a problematic style and adjust accordingly.
As for shoes, they were quite uncomfortable to stand in, inflexible, and caused heel blisters when dancing.
The belts we purchased were universally too small. I am between a 32 and a 34 waist, and the 34 belt was barely able to be fastened on the loosest hole. It’s not actually a 34, and for men purchasing a product, it’s silly to give them the smallest possible size. I was not asked about sizing preference or given the belt to try on during fitting.
My overall score of 10 reflects the excellent service I received during a problem. I would give the rented product a 3. I personally would be hesitant to choose Friar Tux myself.
