The consistency in food quality and service! Been a patron for years and won't stop any time soon.

2 problems though - when I made the reservation, I had requested a bar area booth and said it was for my wife's birthday. Though both were honored, I had to tell the staff about both requests. We never had this problem before! Otherwise everything was great!

The quality of food as well as the unique dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegetarian Gumbo. For dessert, the Blood Orange Sorbet was very creamy and tasted like ice cream. A memorable experience.

Like ambiance and food. Bartender asked too many questions. It became challenging and less enjoyable.

Staff is always pleasant, and food is always great!

We were able to make last minute reservations and were greeted when we walked into the establishment. The server was friendly, attentive, and very polite. As always the food was good and the atmosphere was great.

My husband and I dined at this location for the first time since 2019. We used to eat here frequently until we moved to another Metro Atlanta area in 2016. However, not satisfied with restaurants in our new area, at least once per month, we would make the 45 minute drive to SCK. I’ve eaten here alone 3 times within the past 2 years and the customer service and food quality wasn’t as I was expecting. As our custom, we dine out on Halloween and we chose SCK as our destination. I ordered what I like which is the Gouda fritters, Caesar salad with fried shrimp, and shrimp/grits. Much to my delight and satisfaction, the food was excellent. Our server, Dana, was attentive and helpful in suggesting an entree for my husband. He ordered the catfish and enjoyed every bite. Dana informed us the menu would include new options in a few weeks. Surprisingly, there were only 4 other couples in the restaurant during our 90 minute dining experience. Hopefully it was because people were celebrating Halloween. I would encourage people looking for Southern comfort food to give SCK a try!

Great service and the food and cocktails are always high quality. An Atlanta institution that has never stopped hustling to make a great dining experience, even though it has been around for decades.

I really enjoyed my early Birthday Brunch at South City Kitchen in Vinings yesterday!

The staff, the ambience and the Vegetarian Gumbo with the Spinach and Kale side dishes were delicious!

The food is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. The service was a little slow this past visit. This part of the review is addressed to corporate... I bought a double up gift card during the recent promotion. When I tried to redeem it, it said that it had been redeemed on Oct 1. I wasn't in town that weekend, as it was my birthday weekend. No one else has access to my email. My mother recently had surgery and I haven't been out to eat in Atlanta since May because I was caring for her. I bought the gift card in June so there was no way that I could have used it and forgotten. The staff was kind enough to honor it anyway but I felt as if they thought I was trying to cheat them by using it twice, which I would never do. Please fix your system. That was embarrassing to me and my mother and we had done nothing wrong. I commend your staff on providing good customer service in honoring the gift card. I would have been very upset if they hadn't and would not have dined at a FGR again. Their response will bring me back.

We have been to your restaurant many times over the years, but last night was not a stellar occasion. The food was ver good, but not outstanding, and the total evening just didn’t feel like it did in the past. I am a rewards member, but I will be going to the other restaurants in the future.

Bar is the best around for a date. No loud music, so it’s easy to talk. Everyone is friendly and positive. We always leave happier than we came in!
