I love South City Kitchen in Midtown. This weekend my parents were visiting Georgia from Virginia. I added South City Kitchen to our list of things to do! I really wanted them to try the fried green tomatoes (my mom's favorite). They loved the food and the atmosphere at the restaurant. And we all appreciated the complimentary dessert we received since it was their first time there!

Excellent food as always and love the many gluten free options, especially the chicken livers. Also pleased to see the banana pudding now as a GF option. Our server Victoria at Avalon was phenomenal - will definitely be back!

It was my first time. Great experience and delicious food and cocktails. Best thing about it all was our phenomenal server, Angel. She was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and genuine. Definitely made a big difference. Will definitely be back soon!

Always excellent food and sitting solo at bar dining is a pleasant experience. I know there is a shortage of help, but two bartenders at lunch and dinner hours would be helpful and allow for more attentive service.

I'm not going to make any public comments about this however I ate at your restaurant a couple of nights ago and I ordered the veal chop. I was seated at the bar and before I could be served I got a text from a friend who had a minor car accident and needed my assistance. So I asked for my food to be packed to go which it was no issue there, however when I got home the veal chop was one of the worst I've ever had. It was almost like it was a fried to a crisp I couldn't even cut it with a knife and fork I had to pick it up and eat it with my fingers. I like your restaurant I've eaten there many times and I'll be back but I was sorely disappointed.
Solid menu and cocktails. No desserts available the night we went. according to the manager the cake wasn’t up to par, so we had the donuts, which came out raw.
