The food is amazingly paired, full of flavor, and wonderfully prepared. The fried chicken tacos are consistently prepared and never dry. I have a gluten issue so to accommodate my restrictions the kitchen prepared mine with grilled instead of fried chicken They were amazing and I did not miss the fried chicken at all. The salad is wonderful with every bite providing an explosion of flavor. I could have it every day.
In addition to the consistently wonderful food, the staff is out of this world. I usually get take out but sat at the bar and not only did we get food we always enjoy but had the best conversations and service from the bartender. She is fantastic and always does an amazing job getting additional items and keeping our glasses filled even though she is super busy.
Thank you for the good food, friendly staff and management, and for always exceeding our expectations. Don't ever go away!

LaTavola just delivers. They deliver quality, passion, atmosphere and the best food in the city. As a lover of authentic Italian cuisine My wife and I often venture out in search of the next great Italian kitchen. We find many spots that are worthy adversaries but LaTavola remains our champion. Well run, well staffed and well equipped, it’s a spot that is unique. It’s legendary neighborhood vibe is an important feature that Atlanta seldom offers. Lots of regulars create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere to enjoy whether you are closing a business deal, on a date or dining with a small group of friends. Still my #1 restaurant in Atlanta. The service was excellent and the food was top drawer (both my wife and I ordered the top chicken dish on the menu).
We have gone to La Tavola for many, many years and always liked it. This time was special -- the special menu with emphasis on tomatoes was a great idea and the items we had were both very good. The server was absolutely exceptional -- warm, attentive, and very helpful. Perhaps the only recommendation for the future: a slight enlargement of the list of "wines by the glass," which currently is relatively short compared to the very good list of wine hy the bottlel

Love the food, especially the meat and cheese combo. Small but well chosen wine list. Good gin selection.
Only gripe- restaurant is often uncomfortably cold.
Tacoa (i think that’s how his name is spelled) is always great! He anticipates our needs and request. He’s so polite. He really treats us like family. It’s apparent that he loves his job! He greets us with a smile and is an exceptional waiter.

The Original El Taco handled the catering for my party of 20 people. It came through with flying colors. GM Eddie (on down) went well beyond the call of duty. Every detail was just perfect. The food quality was incredible, my guests were very impressed, and the food "travels well." 10 out of 10 from start to finish (just like the restaurant).
Be for the shut down.....Loved the Excellent service and food Quality. We are return customers for years....Hostesses are usually great, not so much this time...Food quality not up to what we were use to....but overall it's our place to go! Need to go back to regular menu, we loved the the steak items, but only had one to select from this time....! We will be so glad when things get back to normal...!!!!!

We love the food! There are certain must-order items each visit, such as the piquillo peppers, or the goat cheese balls (dessert). But we are always happy to sample other small plates, as well as the flatbreads and pastas. We also love the well-curated wine list. We always find something good.
Our server, Barry was exceptional. Our table was romantic. And our meals were delicious. Only thing we missed was fresh brewed iced tea!
