I am a member of the Y in Madison, New Jersey as well as Stuart Florida. They are both great for different reasons. I’m in Florida. I like the fact that the variety of equipment is very extensive and they are arranged in a way that allows you to move between the equipment easily and quickly and not bump into anybody else or interfere with their workout.
I also like that the weight room is at one end and doesn’t interfere with those of us using the aerobic equipment and weight machines. The parking is always easy for me and maybe it’s the time of day that I go, but I never have a problem finding parking .Swimming pools are outside and I do like the fact that in New Jersey they are inside.

I have been a member of the YMCA for so many years and would never join any other club. I am fortunate enough to have my membership paid for by my healthcare plan because I am over 65 years old. Can’t do anything better than the YMCA.

It is very casual. All the staff are very helpful. The members are nice and respectful. Plus, it is clean.

All the athletic equipment is always clean and functional
