I am thrilled that Christine came back to lead the Zumba class! She is vivacious, friendly, and so much fun!
The front desk people are usually friendly and helpful, as well.
Cleanliness and variety of equipment
I love the YMCA swim lessons! I recommend them to everyone.
Soooo Good! I love that the clock is stopped after a 20 point spread in youth basketball.
Thank you YMCA for all you do for our kiddos!
We meet our friends there. The staff is welcoming, with few very rare exceptions. The facility is clean and well kept.
For fun, not too competitive (mostly)
Excellent organization and accessibility- the workers do a great job of letting non members use the facilities for youth sports.
Good instructors, decent facility, close by location
helpfulness of staff. access to machines. even when parking lot is full, there are plenty of machines to do desired exercise.
Location
Good facilities, friendly staff, central location.
I like it, nice place!!
Great place.
price, people, proximity
It's easy. The communication is great. It is very inexpensive compared to other options. I like the community-based atmosphere, with volunteer parent coaches. I'm super happy that girls have their own league for 3rd and 4th grades! The boys never passed to the girls even in the 1st and 2nd grade league, and although I am all about having kids learn to be equitable early on, my kid wasn't getting the ball, so that lesson was lost anyway in co-ed ball.
it is a good facility
Silver sneakers Wednesday class with First name removed Bush
The vibe is very friendly to all ages, and I feel comfortable as a 69 year old in the workout room and in all the spaces.
Friendly members and staff.
Almost enough parking.
The swimming pool staff are the best!
the coaches and the staff
My son has played basketball for two seasons. It's a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn a sport in an educational, recreational setting. There is a good amount of competition without being overwhelmed for newcomers or kids who aren't amazing at a sport. Coaches have been really great, and I like the way the referees stop the game to instruct the kids. It's the best way for kids to learn all the little rules that are hard to cover in practices.
Variety of classes; friendliness of staff
Uncrowded, clean, friendly staff, good programming
There are a variety of classes, class levels, instructors and equipment available to help a person, of any age, be as healthy as possible.
Flexibility, variety of classes for all levels, and good instructors and trainers. Front desk always welcoming and helpful. Clean facilities and equipment in good condition. Also enjoy seeing all of the little children and their parents in the morning! So glad the Y supports these families with quality care.
I use the weight machines and free weights. I appreciate that I don't generally have to wait a long time to get on machine, and live that the free weight room is so large and uncrowded. A nuisance, at other facilities also, is the way many users occupy machines while resting rather than getting up so others can share them without asking. Education would be helpful. One of the machine's design contributes to knee issues for me, and I'm sure for others. It's the one where there's a padded bar across the ankles and you slide the pad up or down to fit leg length, then straighten your leg/knee to raise the bar. I think it's called leg extension machine? The problem is the bar pulls on my knees which has caused knee pain and a couple weeks of impaired walking the last time I used it. I wont get on it again. Perhaps when it's time to replace machines that one should be replaced with one of better design. Thanks for asking for input.
Friendly staff, picklball drop in play, good workout machines and classes
