fitness classes
It is a place to gather with new friends, take classes, play games, and experience a sense of community.
We've been JCC since 1983, when it first opened. I like the workout classes and the availability of the track and pool. My husband has been a member of the Men's Health Club since back in the 80's and enjoys the services and camaraderie of the community. He also uses the workout facilities, e.g, basketball, spinning, and the weight room.
I also have loved being part of a community of all age groups.
Have enjoyed my 4 year relationship with JCC, after belonging when it re-opened in the 1980,s for 10 years until I moved out of Newton

Overall the JCC has a diverse community of friendly, caring and helpful people - both members and staff. I mostly use the gym, have in the past used the indoor/outdoor pool and have taken many of the yoga and fitness classes - but there's so much more the JCC has to offer so there really is something for everyone. The facility is clean, security is comforting, and I love the plants both inside and outside - all making for a very welcoming experience. Lastly, for the 20ish years my family has enjoyed membership, we have seen many new classes and features offered, expansions and improvements to the environment inside and out. I like knowing that the JCC works to keep things fresh, stay up-to-date and change with the times.

I love EVERYTHING! The trainers are the BEST! Everyone is frindly and the classes and pool are amzing---What is not to love---I also love hearing and seeing children having fun!

Great facilities, friendly staff, close to my home
Just feels comfortable to me. Parking SUCKS and is only getting worse.
I only do one class Aqua Zumba.
Hopefully we will get another day.

Feel if community, I mainly use the gym but like the feeling and opportunity fir participating in all the other activities and programs, how clean the facility is.

I use solely the fitness facilities, so that is all I can speak to. Facilities are clean and kept in good condition and the personnel are friendly and helpful.
As a senior, when I use the exercise machines, it's more on the quiet side- not too many people which is relaxing.

I enjoy all the exercise opportunities and the excellent instructors.
Also, some of the extra classes provided are worthwhile.
