The tips are good. Pay is too low. Shouldn't have to rely on the customers to pay me a decent wage. Commission is hard to hit and not worth it with the amount of work you put into it... too bad its not structured like Great Clips' commission. The team i work with is great. But as far as area leader....she treats her management very poorly. It's really sad. That's all on the topic that I will say but it definitely goes deeper than that.

I do love working here, my coworkers are great. the pay needs to increase. $18-$20 hour is more than fair just basing off what other jobs pay that don’t require a degree or schooling. I would like to also see classes for products, I heard from other stylists that there used to be product classes to educate us. I wish we sold exclusive products also. Too many clients are able to just buy products at Walmart or Amazon whenever they need it. Makes it’s very hard on us to sell. Just a thought that I hope someone takes into account.

I enjoy our store we have alot of fun. Great benefits which is hard to find in the hair world. The only thing I would like there to be a change is to either raise the hourly pay (tips are not guaranteed so that's not a pay raise) we went to school for this and we deserve $18 at LEAST. Fast food pays more hourly than we get here. Its really sad....OR at least change the commission scale to where it is more Attainable. It's very hard to hit all 3. I could do really well at 2 of those categories but struggle in one. All the work for 2 of those categories for nothing. It's very discouraging. All in all i really like it here but we've got girls and single moms that are struggling to make ends meet with this crazy economy and more people threatening to leave because the pay is not where it should be.
