I love the e-gym strength-training equipment, which gives me a personalized approach to weight training. Coupled with the free weights and other weight-training equipment, I can get a complete, varied workout without a lot of waiting or congestion. I can complete a full workout pretty quickly, too, which I love.
I also really love the vibe: relatively quiet, no loud weight-lifting sound effects and commentary. Staff and other gym users are respectful, focused and a pleasure to see whenever I’m there.
clean and convenient
The Skyline YMCA has courteous, knowledgeable and helpful staff (Tammy, Edwin and the young gentlemen at check-in). We are always greeted with a friendly smile. The other clients are also very friendly and conscientious of others.

I enjoy the yoga classes immensley. Maddie does a super job. Staff is very personable and take care of learning first names.
Staff is attentive. Facilities are clean and up to date. A good, diverse group of members are present on any given day.
I love Skyline because everything is easily accessible and the staff are super kind. It would be great if that gym stayed open a bit later on weekday evenings. People who want to come after work ends at 5 aren't always able to get in a full workout.

Friendly, clean, available machines
I feel welcome and not self conscious. The staff is always available with a smile & friendly hello. The facility is bright & clean which to me shows how proud this group is.

Amazing staff! Very friendly and welcoming. Edwin B is always helpful and welcomes/values member input and feedback. Smaller facility compared to other Y locations, which is great because it isn’t nearly as busy. Convenient location located in the heart of downtown.

This location is nice and open, with lots of machines. I don't usually have to wait to use any machine I want. The staff is friendly and helpful, and I also enjoy people watching from the front window.
