The employees are all so friendly and caring especially in the child watch department. I know that when I drop off my little one before I work out that they will be in good hands. My child always loves to show me what he colored while I was working out. Sometimes they will also get the kids to do a group activity like a game or play an it play doh and my child enjoys those things the most.
Nice facilities. Enjoy social interactions with individuals I have met at the Y. Participating in some of the a.m. classes.

I have been a member of the Fort Wayne YMCA for several years and while the membership is higher than other work out centers, it offers far more services that most others do, including child watch (I don’t use it, but I see it busy most of the time. You offer a pool and also swimming lessons to all ages (which I used to become a better swimmer and improve me health). There were cooking classes at one time, not sure it that is still available.
The one negative about this location, lack of communication or interaction with the members for the folks who run this location. Honestly, I have no idea who they are – the past folks who may no longer be there was always out greeting folk and introducing themselves to members – so those in charge might want to consider doing the same.
Coming into the Jorgenson YMCA, I am always greeted by the folks at the front counter which is appreciated
