I love the Central Branch YMCA! It is conveniently located and I love the group classes that I attend. It never seems extremely crowded and I appreciate that.
I like the socialization that I‘ve experienced since joining the Y. I found that after I retired I missed being around people. I’ve made so many friends between my stretch class and playing pickle ball.
Very clean and nice people and staff
I like the windows in the workout area.
I only take a couple classes but the instructors are good and very aware of level of health
/abilities of participants.
Staff are all very considerate and helpful and attentive to members and visitors.
Great staff, equipment is always organized and in good working order.
I like that you make a strong effort to meet needs of the over 60 crowd. Please consider Restorative and or Yin yoga classes. Yoga Six is closed. They had a great teacher Amanda Christiansen. Restorative and Yin (especially Yin) are very beneficial.
What happened to the OAO Older Active Adult group. It is not functioning and has no Y staff member leading it.
It's my therapy, mental and physical. A community of the greatest people. We are fortunate to have a beautiful YMCA. A big thank you to all the staff! Always accommodating and nice.
