Our son loves Lake in the Woods camp. So many activities to choose each session and all the counselors are great. He cried on the last day of camp this year and already looking forward to next year. Lia and Chris are beyond amazing and a true asset to your organization.

How inclusive they are with my son who has ASD. They make sure he is well taken care of and enjoys everything along with the other kids.

My kids are really enjoying their experience there. The facility is beautiful, every week you offer different activities to keep it interesting. My kids are doing activities that they probably would not be exposed to as a kid. They are engaging with other kids and making friends. This experience keeps them from staying home all day and playing video games. They already said they want to go back next year!! Thank you for giving my kids a fun summer.

I loved how much fun my son had at Lake in the Woods YMCA camp! Sachem came home everyday with another fun story of different activities he engaged in, the counselors that he liked a lot, and of course the lunch! He had such a wide range of activities to choose from and he was able to stay really busy and active for the whole two weeks. I especially loved the ease of drop-off and pick-up since I always had two toddlers in the car with me and it would have been really tough to get them in and out of the car each time. So, well done, and we’ll be back next year!!

This was our first year sending our daughter to camp on the Blairstown campus and she absolutely loved it and wants to go back again next year.

The staff was especially great - from Chris who signed us in/out every day (and was always so happy to see our dog Charlie), to the counselors, to any questions we had.

This camp the only one so far that my daughter never said she doesn’t wanna go in the morning-I haven’t heard athing of that kind for both sessions that we were in and further more she was really looking forward for the next day and really sad, as it comes to end! I would like to thank everybody who made this possible and say how important it is to organize children’s time not only with lots of benefits for them, but also apparently with good amount of fun! Thank you and we are looking forward for the next summer 🫶

Fairview Lake Camp - Lake in the Woods is amazing! Our son, John Joseph, absolutely loves it - every day is an adventure for him. He has made lasting friendships :)

Lia and Chris are the ABSOLUTE best! They are truly genuine individuals! Our son has established a great relationship and feels so comfortable with both Lia and Chris. The care and compassion they show the campers is above and beyond and they are the reason we came back again this year and hope they return again next year.

As a parent knowing Lia and Chris are responsible for our son gives us great comfort throughout the day because we know he is truly in the best hands.

Staff are amazing!

Well organized, well-run camp with plenty of activities

Our son loved every moment!! He couldn’t wait to get there and came home exhausted! We are grateful for the care of the staff, the engaging activities and the delicious food!!

I can't say enough about the camp, I will def be recommending the camp. My daughter had a great time and we will definitely be returning next year. I can't say enough good comments on Chris as a counselor, he was awesome. He was so helpful and always personable and going out of his way. He gets 10 plus stars for sure and was a pleasure to deal with. Leah was also very good and helpful and always a smile on her face. We look forward to returning next year. The camp was so much and offered so many activities and variety for the kids. Can't wait till next year to return!

The whole camp experience and counselors were amazing !

Im happy with the organizationbut last year was a great experience too! My boys love to attend the camp and I find Chris (Lake in the Woods) very capable to manage the group and run the camp in a great way! They have never said they are bored or didn’t have a great time there. Definitely doing this camp next summer.

My kids loved it. They told me it was the best camp they have been to yet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the activities were a lot of fun.

I like the swim lessons that they offer my kids and that they take place in a pool. The counselors and staff are great too! My kids like the structure of the camp as well.
