I have been a Kamps customer for about 20 years, and recently ran into Glenn Rieben (now retired) at a local event. He was always helpful and respectful and his successors have also seemed to follow that lead. I was happy to find out that I qualified from the 'Columbia College' rate when I told Glenn I taught there.
Kamps technicians have 'gone the extra mile' many times for me and my propane plans including:
1) Installing about 120' of underground plastic pipe to prepare for a new manufactured home connection (I prepared the trench to their specifications)
2) Installing 'black pipe' in my attic to connect a newly installed fireplace and a stub for a planned second fireplace (connected by a contractor a few years later).  
3) Inspecting a 10 year old propane stove that came new with a manufactured home and declaring it had so many leaks they 
4) Installing a 'T' and a valve in my outdoor propane pipe to connect a whole-house generator
I initially switched from J.S. West to Kamps and I have been on a 'routed' and 'Smart system' service since. Fills have been consistently and professionally completed without worry. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to switch to a lower rate from another provider through a homeownerns association group plan. I called Kamps and explained the situation, and John O'Malley was able to nearly match the rate I was quoted. So I was happy to stay with Kamps!
The office staff has always been friendly and professional, both in-person and by phone. This summer I became concerned when my tank was creeping down toward 35% and might not support a long power outage running my generator. I just received a fill when the tank hit 30%, so I'm now prepared for anything!
